Magnus Trygve Olsen Devold (born November 13, 1986) is a Norwegian comedian, actor and stunt reporter from Oslo.
Devold is known from the TV series Swedes are people, Tonight with Ylvis (I kveld med Ylvis), Get me to the Games, [1] the VGTV series @Home, TV Ekstra, Norway's best party, The World's Best Holiday and in 2015 he got his own show "Kjendiskveld with Magnus Devold". [2] In 2017 he was featured in a TVNorge campaign featuring comedians in roles they do not belong. [3]
Devold was educated at the theater line at Romerike Folkehøgskole and the textwriter line at Westerdals College. He was involved in Oslo-revues as an actor and instructor and won the Revelpris in 2010 as director of the Lambertseterrevy together with Hasse Hope and Christian Valeur. He is also included in the podcast trio Dustene (2015-) with Fanny Vaager and Hasse Hope.
Magnus Devold is the son of Tove Devold (née Olsen). He is a grandson of journalist, author and musician Simon Flem Devold. [4]
The Progress Party, commonly abbreviated as FrP, is a right-wing political party in Norway. The FrP has traditionally self-identified as classical-liberal and as a libertarian party but is generally positioned to the right of the Conservative Party, and is considered the most right-wing party to be represented in parliament. It is often described as moderately right-wing populist; this characterization has also been disputed in both academic and public discourse. By 2020, the party attained a growing national conservative faction. After the 2017 parliamentary election, it was Norway's third largest political party, with 26 representatives in the Storting. It was a partner in the government coalition led by the Conservative Party from 2013 to 2020.
Ylvis is a Norwegian comedy duo consisting of brothers Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker. They debuted as professional variety artists in 2000 and have since appeared in several countries in variety shows, comedy concerts, television shows, radio shows and music videos. They hosted the Norwegian talk show I kveld med Ylvis (2011–2016). Their song and music video "The Fox ", written and filmed for the talk show, went viral on YouTube in September 2013. The video currently has over 1 billion views as of April 2022. They released an album called Ylvis: Volume I, a compilation of ten older singles. In 2018, the brothers released a series titled Stories from Norway, in which the Ylvis brothers collected headlining stories from Norway and presented them as short, musical documentaries.

Magnus Bernhard Olsen was a Norwegian philologist who specialized in Old Norse studies.
Mazyar Keshvari is an Iranian-born Norwegian former politician for the Progress Party and a convicted felon who is serving two prison sentences for fraud and violent threats. He was elected as a substitute member of the Norwegian parliament for the city of Oslo in 2013, representing the right-wing and anti-immigration Progress Party, and attended parliamentary sessions from 2013 to 2018 as the substitute of the mandate holder Siv Jensen who has been on leave from parliament during her government service. As a politician he was known for taking a hard stance on immigration, calling for a complete ban on further immigration to Norway, a stop to the practice of accepting asylum seekers in Norway, and the deportation of immigrants convicted of crimes. In 2019 he was convicted of aggravated fraud for defrauding the Norwegian parliament and in 2020 he was sentenced to 11 months imprisonment. He left the Norwegian parliament following his indictment in 2018 and also left the Progress Party in October 2019. In 2019 he was also arrested and charged with making violent threats, and he was convicted and sentenced to an additional four months in prison in 2020.
Johan Herbert Magnus Härenstam was a Swedish television host, actor and comedian. Härenstam hosted the Swedish version of the game-show Jeopardy! for 14 years before being replaced by Adam Alsing. Härenstam is also known for hosting the children's TV-program Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter, which was very popular and has been re-broadcast numerous times since it first aired. Härenstam participated in the music video for ABBA's hit song "When I Kissed the Teacher" where he played the teacher who got kissed by Agnetha Fältskog. Well known in Sweden for several decades, he was almost equally popular in Norway, having starred in the 1990s sitcom Fredrikssons fabrikk, playing the Swedish boss of a Norwegian textile workshop.

I kveld med YLVIS was a Norwegian talk show hosted by Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker, with Calle Hellevang-Larsen as a permanent sidekick. During season 2 Calle was replaced by David Batra due to obligations he had made with his comedy group Raske Menn and their show on the rival channel TV2. Magnus Devold is also a permanent part of the show and often contributes with several segments per show.
