Magyar Narancs (Hungarian Orange in English) is a weekly [1] liberal magazine with a strong satirical tone appearing on Thursdays in Hungary. It is informally referred to as Mancs (Paw in English) which is a joking abbreviation of the name. The magazine was first published in October 1989. [2] Its headquarters are in Budapest. [2] It includes articles mainly on politics, culture and sociology.

iWiW was a Hungarian social networking web service which started on 14 April 2002 as WiW. As of August 2007, it had 2.6 million registered users with real names. Vilmos Kondor is the name of a successful Hungarian author. His seven crime novels, known as the Sinful Budapest Cycle, depict the adventures of a journalist, Zsigmond Gordon, in Budapest from the 1930s to the 1950s. They have become very popular in Hungary. He's been dubbed as "the creator of Hungarian crime fiction".

VándorMások is one of the oldest gay organizations in Hungary. It has been organizing gay-friendly hikes in the mountains easily accessible from Budapest since December 26, 1991.
