Maharashtra State Financial Corporation (MSFC) is the term lending development financial institution in Maharashtra state in India. It provides finance to small and medium scale enterprises. It was set up by Government of Maharashtra in 1962. [1]

Maharashtra is a state in the western and central peninsular region of India occupying a substantial portion of the Deccan Plateau. The centre of India is in this state. Maharashtra is the second-most populous state in India as well as the third-most populous country subdivision in the world. It was formed on 1 May 1960 by splitting the bilingual Bombay State, which had existed since 1956, into majority Marathi-speaking Maharashtra and Gujarati-speaking Gujarat. The Godavari and the Krishna are the two major rivers in the state. Marathi is the most widely spoken language and is also the official language of the state. The forest cover in the state is 16.47% of the state's geographical area. Out of the total cultivable land in Maharashtra, about 60% is used for grain crops with Jowar being the dominating crop.
Sharad Govindrao Pawar is an Indian politician with over sixty years of public service. He holds a position of prominence in Indian politics as well as in the regional politics of Maharashtra. During his long career, Pawar has served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on three occasions and held the posts of Minister of Defence and Minister of Agriculture in the Government of India. He is president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which he founded in 1999, after separating from the Indian National Congress. He leads the NCP delegation in the Rajya Sabha, the upper chamber of the Indian parliament. He is one of the founders of Maha Vikas Aghadi, a post-poll alliance in Maharashtra between Shivsena, NCP, and INC.
Solapur is a city located in the south-western region of the Indian state of Maharashtra, close to its border with Karnataka. Nashik is an ancient city and the largest city in the northern region of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Situated on the banks of river Godavari, Nashik is the fourth largest city in Maharashtra, after Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur. Nashik is well known for being one of the Hindu pilgrimage sites of the Kumbh Mela, which is held every 12 years. Nashik is located about 190 km north of state capital Mumbai. The city is called the "Wine Capital of India" as more than half of India's vineyards and wineries are located here. Around 90% of all wine produced in India comes from the Nashik Valley.

Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor is an under-construction high-speed rail line connecting India's economic hub Mumbai with the city of Ahmedabad. When completed, it will be India's first high-speed rail line.
Sindhudurg Airport, also known as Chipi Airport, is an airport at Chipi-Parule in Sindhudurg district, in the State of Maharashtra, India. It is located 27 kilometres from the Mumbai - Goa highway, 12 kilometres from Malvan close to the sea shore. Construction was completed by the second half of 2018 and a familiarisation flight from Mumbai Airport landed on 12 September 2018 on occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The airport was formally inaugurated on 5 March 2019. Alliance Air, an Air India subsidiary, has secured permissions to operate flights from Mumbai. Commercial flights are expected to start from 9 October 2021.

He also served as the 18th Chief Minister of Maharashtra (CM), in office from 31 October 2014 to 8 November 2019.
