Mahaut, born Mahaut Mondino, was born in Paris, France where she grew up. Her father Jean-Baptiste Mondino is a renowned fashion photographer and music video director and her mother a fashion stylist. Her family moved to Los Angeles for a short time when she was 2 years old.
As she was starting to experiment with producing and singing, Mahaut was commissioned at 17 years old to make original music for brands such as Cacharel and Yves Saint Laurent. She co-wrote her very first original music for Cacharel's 'Amor Amor' and 'Forbidden Kiss' perfume commercials with producer Mirwais.
After graduating from high school she studied music engineering in Paris allowing her to self-record and self-produce her music. While her personal works started to attract some attention, she met her first manager and moved to New-York city.
In 2013, production duo Supreme Cuts from Chicago featured Mahaut on two of their tracks, one of which, 'Gone', ended up as lead track off their album 'Divine Ecstasy'. After performing at SXSW in Austin, TX in 2014, Mahaut released her first single 'Voodoo Me' co-produced by Young & Sick. She then released her self-titled EP in 2015.
In 2016, while recording and living in Los Angeles, she began collaborating with producer Dave Stewart from the legendary band Eurythmics with whom she co-wrote her single 'Summertime', a unique urban blend of electronica and blues.
She now resides in Paris, France.

Jennifer Kathleen Hanson is an American country music artist, songwriter and record producer. She made her artist debut in 2002 with the release of her single “Beautiful Goodbye”. The song went on to become a top 20 hit on Billboard's Hot Country Songs reaching #16 in March 2003, the highest-charting debut single by a female country artist for that year. Her self-titled debut album, Jennifer Hanson, was released that same year on Capitol Records to critical acclaim, and in 2003 Hanson was nominated for the Top New Female Vocalist award from the Academy of Country Music. She received a nomination that same year for CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year for her video “Beautiful Goodbye”, directed by Trey Fanjoy.
"Violently Happy" is a song by Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk, released in March 1994 by One Little Indian as the fifth and final single from her debut album, Debut (1993). The song was written by Björk and Nellee Hooper, who helped her in writing and producing most of the album. The lyrics speak of Björk feeling a love so intense that it is actually dangerous, requesting that her lover return to "calm her down". Musically, it is an upbeat song. "Violently Happy" peaked at number 13 on the UK Singles Chart, number ten on the UK Dance Singles Chart and number four on the US Billboard dance charts.

Her debut album, the critically acclaimed electronica-infused Melankton, was released in March 2006 on iTunes and April 2006 in Norway only, before being licensed internationally to Universal Republic USA later.
