The story begins with a mother Maya and daughter Adya who run a cafe near the beach. Maya is always short tempered thus causing problems with her mother. Adya beats up a boy at her college, where she studies B.Com, thus her principal calls up their parents and threatens to suspend them but Maya requests saying such incidents will not happen thus releasing them and later scolds her daughter. The next afternoon, her principals summons her to his cabin where she is met my Malati Sharma who has come to interview her. It is then revealed that she lost her father at a very young age, and says Maya has always been supportive as a father and a mother.
Meanwhile, Sahana a woman working in Indian Intelligence Department, who is a secret agent turns her computer to sleep mode before leaving office, revealing Maya's photo before screen cuts to black. The next day, she sees the photos and takes it to her boss who orders her to send a team and arrest her, and claims she is very dangerous.
The team arrives at Maya's cafe to arrest her, but she says she is innocent and suddenly she is shown fighting off with everyone, and thus kills everyone who came to arrest her, leaving Adya shocked. Another man comes to shoot her but she uses her hidden gun to blast the cafe and thus escaping from them with Adya. He calls his boss who tells him that Maya holds a certain evidence that he needs, and orders him to search for her.
At IID, The Head orders Sahana and team to call Pratap, an efficient officer to handle this case and addresses Maya as Devaki. After escaping, Maya throws away Adya's phone revealing that she can be caught again and those came to arrest her were not the police. At IID, as Pratap arrives, chief explains that Devaki is also an undercover special agent trained in the Department, who has solved many cases. When she was handling Thousif's case, who is a person with high criminal background, who used to conduct many blasts including Goa Blasts among others, she traces his location and just as that happens, he turns into an approver. Shockingly, Devaki shoots the field agent, who was also her husband Kishore, and Thousif and escapes with the confidential database. Pratap is assigned the case, and told to catch her.
Maya and Adya arrive at a man's place who reveals that Devaki is Maya's real name and when she goes to catch Thousif, an attack ensues in which her husband was shot dead but Maya was falsely accused of it instead. She escapes and has been hiding from IID ever since. The next day, Adya calls her friend and talks to her asking on whereabouts back at her place, then it is revealed it was a bait to capture Maya as Pratap is shown to be tracing her call. Pratap and team, and the mysterious man separately follow her, but she escapes, just as the man tried to shoot her, along with Kashi, the person she met before. Adya later demands answers as to who Devaki really is, to which she tells that, a few years ago, when she and her husband were working as field agents, she was assigned a case to capture Toushif who was running a Banking mafia but lacked evidence, and she gets a lead from Kashi that the criminal's location is tracked and he is going to transfer a huge sum to an underworld organization. Devaki and Kishore go to capture but Toushif calls their chief and says he did all this to protect his family and requests protection and says he has all the "evidence". But Toushif kills Kishore just as the chief calls Devaki and tells her not to kill him, then he lies that Devaki killed Kishore instead angering her due to which she shoots and kills him. Then, she tells Kashi to erase her identity.
Elsewhere, Pratap discovers through hacking Kashi's email that he is fleeing to Bombay and informs airport authorities to hold all flights to Bombay. But she soon discovers it's false and realizes they are headed to Bangalore via a flight. He also discovers Maya is going to attack Mr Bellakki ex-chief of IID who knows about what escalated that day, and calls him to give protection but its already too late. A sniper who is revealed to be the mysterious man from before shoots Bellakki and also tries to attack Devaki but Pratap arrives there so he walks away. Pratap finds Devaki and captures her.
Pratap questions Devaki demanding the evidence but she says, she does not have it. She again fights off everyone and shoots Pratap in the ear and escapes. He then reanalyzes all the events where Devaki was and realizes she is intelligent and they have been catching the wrong person. Meanwhile Devaki realizes the present Department Chief Patil was working as alibi to Toushif. Nawaz threatens Patil into killing Devaki as soon as possible.
Kashi and Devaki capture another alibi who is an orphan who was helping Toushif, and learns that his address was being used to send many letters from a certain bank. When Devaki goes to retrieve the keys needed to open the secret locker from the bank, she is again attacked by the people at IID but she manages to escape. They attack the bank manager and take the keys and go to locker room and collects the evidence. Adya is then caught by the same mysterious man along with Kashi and Maya follows her. Kashi is killed by him, and then Adya reveals the password to the evidence, thus revealing she is Toushif's daughter. Devaki attacks the man and kills him. Adya and Devaki both escape from there, and Devaki tells that, she will surrender along with the evidence she has in order to protect Adya.
When she goes to surrender, Patil attacks her, and Pratap shoots Devaki seemingly killing her. Patil then meets Nawaz's henchman and collects the cash, and in the process IID captures him on the basis of evidence. Meanwhile Devaki who is still alive, kills Nawaz. In the final scene, it is revealed that Devaki was shot but her blood was fake and it was made up from a movie team who were hired by Pratap, and thus the movie ends.
