The Mailiao Refinery is an oil refinery complex in Mailiao Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan.
The refinery began its first phase of production in 2000 with a capacity of 150,000 barrels per day. In 2002, it reached its full capacity at 450,000 barrels per day. [2]
The refinery consists of 28 storage tanks for crude oil with an individual capacity of 130,000 m3. [2]

Situated on Southampton Water, it was rebuilt and extended in 1951 and is now the largest oil refinery in the United Kingdom, and one of the most complex refineries in Europe. The Sapugaskanda Refinery is the single largest oil refinery of Sri Lanka. The refinery was built by Iran under the guidance of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation in August 1969, initially designed to process 38,000 barrels (6,000 m3) per stream day of Iranian Upper Zakum crude oil, and Arabian light crude oil.
