Maitri Nicolai, known under her stage name Maitri, is a Dutch singer, songwriter and musician.
Maitri is best known as the bassist, songwriter, and female vocalist of the gothic rock band Christian Death. [1] [2] She joined the band in 1991, taking to the stage for her first performance at the Contemporary Festival, held at the Anfiteatro delle Cascine in Florence, Italy, on 12 July 1991. Maitri made her studio debut on the compilation album Jesus Points the Bone at You, performing on the new version of the track "The Nascent Virion", recorded especially for that collection. INXS were an Australian rock band, formed as the Farriss Brothers in 1977 in Sydney, New South Wales. The founding members were bassist Garry Gary Beers, main composer and keyboardist Andrew Farriss, drummer Jon Farriss, guitarist Tim Farriss, lead singer and main lyricist Michael Hutchence, and guitarist and saxophonist Kirk Pengilly. For 20 years, INXS was fronted by Hutchence, whose magnetic stage presence made him the focal point of the band. Initially known for their new wave/pop style, the band later developed a harder pub rock style that included funk and dance elements.

Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band, originally a supergroup from Halmstad, formed in 1995. It was founded by Carcass guitarist Michael Amott along with Johan Liiva, who were both originally from the death metal band Carnage. Dissection was a Swedish extreme metal band from Strömstad, formed in 1989 by guitarist, vocalist and main songwriter Jon Nödtveidt and bassist Peter Palmdahl. Despite a number of lineup changes, Dissection released The Somberlain in 1993 and Storm of the Light's Bane in 1995, before splitting up in 1997 due to Nödtveidt's imprisonment for complicity in the murder of Josef Meddour.
