Freaks is the second studio album by English rock band Pulp, released on 11 May 1987 by Fire Records.
The Internationale is a 1990 album by Billy Bragg. Originally released on Bragg's short-lived record label, Utility Records, it is a deliberately political album, consisting mainly of cover versions and rewrites of left-wing protest songs. Although Bragg is known for his association with left-wing causes, this release is unusual; most of Bragg's recordings balance overtly political songs with social observation and love songs.
Flex-Able is the debut studio album by Steve Vai. This was his first as a solo artist, and was created in Stucco Blue, a shed converted into a studio in Vai's old back garden. It is very different from many of his other albums, and is largely influenced by Frank Zappa. Flex-Able does not rely as much on massive guitar arrangements and shred moments as the rest of his output from the 1990s onwards, with the exception of Leftovers which is a compilation of bonus tracks and remasters from his sessions at 'Stucco Blue'.
Rites of Passage is the fourth studio album by Indigo Girls, released in 1992. It was reissued and remastered in 2000 with two bonus tracks.
Primitive Man is the second studio album by Australian synthpop band Icehouse, released in September 1982. In January 1982, Icehouse founder Iva Davies started recording Primitive Man essentially as a solo project, it was co-produced with Keith Forsey who later worked with Simple Minds and Billy Idol. Forsey supplied additional percussion; Davies supplied vocals, lead guitar, keyboards, bass guitar and programmed the Linn drum machine. Released as an Icehouse album, Primitive Man reached #3 on the National album charts and provided their international breakthrough single, "Hey Little Girl" which peaked at #7 in Australia, #2 in Switzerland, #5 in Germany, Top 20 in UK, Sweden and Netherlands, and #31 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Another single "Great Southern Land" made the Australian Top 5, it was later featured in the 1988 Yahoo Serious film Young Einstein, and remains their most popular song according to listeners of Triple M in 2007. To promote Primitive Man on tour, Davies re-assembled Icehouse with Michael Hoste (keyboards) and John Lloyd (drums), and new members: Bob Kretschmer, Guy Pratt and Andy Qunta.
Phallus Dei is the debut album by German band Amon Düül II. The album was the result of the Amon Düül commune in Munich splitting. The album features layered guitars, abstract percussion, and chant-like vocals. It is often cited as the original Krautrock album.
In a Glass House is the fifth album by British progressive rock band Gentle Giant, released on 21 September 1973. The album is allegedly a concept project based on the aphorism "Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". The record begins and ends with the sound of breaking glass. It is the first album released by the band following the departure of Phil Shulman.
Live Line is double live album by Australian hard rock band The Angels originally released in December 1987. It reached No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart and No.14 on the New Zealand Albums Chart.
Flight of the Behemoth is the second album by Sunn O))). The band collaborated with the Japanese noise artist Merzbow, who mixed tracks 3 and 4, and a recording of the two performing together at the 2007 Earthdom Festival in Tokyo was added for a 2007 2CD reissue in Japan. Southern Lord released this version as a download on Bandcamp in 2013. The French label Bisect Bleep Industries released the first pressings of the 2LP version in 2002, with the bonus track "Grimm & Bear It," which was recorded live at Gaba in Los Angeles in 1998. Southern Lord remastered and re-released this version in 2020. "Grimm & Bear It" was later included as a bonus track on the 2005 CD reissue of The Grimmrobe Demos. Sunn O))) used a drum machine and their own vocals for the first time ever on the track "F.W.T.B.T.", an interpretation of Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls".
Eddie Picnic's All Wet is a live EP by American rock band AFI. It was recorded on December 29, 1993 during a show at The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, California and released on March 18, 1994 through Key Lime Pie Records. 201 copies were produced on pink vinyl for its first pressing. The second pressing was limited to 100. A reissue, featuring slightly different artwork and remastered tracks, was announced in 2015 and released in 2016 after a pressing delay. The reissue was handled by Atom Age Industries, a company owned by former AFI bassist Geoff Kresge.
Equator was the sixteenth album released by British rock band Uriah Heep, released in 1985. It marked the studio return of bassist Trevor Bolder, who had rejoined the band for the Head First tour. The band also had a new record label, Portrait Records, a subsidiary of CBS. Equator was also the last Uriah Heep album to feature vocalist Peter Goalby & keyboardist John Sinclair.
Dog & Butterfly is the fourth studio album by American rock band Heart. It was released on October 7, 1978, by Portrait Records, following a legal dispute with Mushroom Records over the release of the band's third studio album, Magazine, in April 1978. Dog & Butterfly peaked at number 17 on the US Billboard 200 and has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album spawned the singles "Straight On" and "Dog & Butterfly".
The Wild, the Willing and the Innocent is the ninth studio album by the British hard rock band UFO and the first to be entirely self-produced by the band. The song "Lonely Heart" was a minor UK hit single. The original cover was as usual designed by the art studio Hipgnosis. This is the band's first album with the former Wild Horses' keyboard player Neil Carter, replacing Paul Raymond, who had left to join the Michael Schenker Group.
Mechanix is the tenth studio album by the British hard rock band UFO; it was released in 1982. The contemporary music-press adverts on the album's release carried the tag-line 'Mechanix: it will tighten your nuts'. Immediately after the completion of the tour in support of the album, founding member and bassist Pete Way left the band to join former Motörhead guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke in Fastway.
Spell of Iron is the debut album by Finnish metal band Tarot, released in 1986 by Flamingo Music. Spell of Iron has been released on CD in 1994 by Bluelight Records, and a remastered version was released in 2006 by Spinefarm Records.

Talisman is the self-titled first studio album by hard rock band Talisman, released in 1990 through Airplay/Vinylmania. It has been reissued three times: first in 1993 through Dino Music; followed by a remastered edition in 2003 through Dino/Empire Records, containing a bonus disc with demos and live recordings from 1990; and once again on September 12, 2012, as a deluxe Digipak edition with further bonus material.

Mama is the debut album by Victoria, British Columbia punk rock band Nomeansno. Featuring the band's original incarnation comprising brothers John and Rob Wright, the album was released independently on LP in 1982. Nomeansno reissued a remastered version the album in 1992 on their own Wrong Records imprint, coupled with the tracks from their Betrayal, Fear, Anger, Hatred EP of 1981.
Dead Center is a compilation album from Game Theory, a California power pop band fronted by guitarist and singer-songwriter Scott Miller. Initially released in France on Lolita Records in 1984, a newly remastered version was released on CD on November 24, 2014 on Omnivore Recordings.
