MakFest (Macedonian : МакФест) founded in 1986, is the largest festival of Macedonian popular music. It is held every year in November, in Štip, Republic of Macedonia, at the Cultural Center "Aco Šopov" (Macedonian : Дом на Културата "Ацо Шопов"). MakFest is a member of FIDOF (International Federation of Festival Organizations) with headquarters in Los Angeles, CA, USA. In 1997, MakFest was awarded the "Festival of The Year" distinction by FIDOF. [1]

Darko Dimitrov is a Macedonian songwriter, record producer, arranger and record executive. Highly acclaimed for revitalising the Yugoslav mainstream pop music scene, which also influenced the surrounding Balkan countries, he has received international recognition for working with many popular foreign artists.
Tamara Todevska, known professionally as Tamara, is a Macedonian singer. She has represented North Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions; in 2008, she performed the song "Let Me Love You" with Vrčak and Adrian Gaxha and failed to qualify for the final, performing, and in 2019, she placed seventh in the final with the song "Proud", earning North Macedonia its best-ever result in the contest.

Next Time is a rock duo from Skopje, North Macedonia. The duo consists of twin brothers Martin and Stefan Filipovski. Stefan fronts the band as the lead singer, while Martin plays the guitar and sings back-up vocals. The group represented the Republic of Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia but failed to reach the final. In their active years, since 2008, they have released three studio albums including the self-titled debut in 2008, Na krajot od denot in 2011 and Majka in 2022.
Federation Internationale des Organisations de Festivals was an organization to hold and organize festivals worldwide. It was established in 1966, and headquartered in Split, Yugoslavia with Secretary General professor Armando Moreno. Later, it was headquartered in California, United States, where it was registered as a Section 501(c) non-profit organization. It was the member of the U.S. National Music Council. The organization ceased to exist in 2005 after the death of its founder.

Vlatko Ilievski was a Macedonian pop rock singer and actor. He was the runner-up to be the Macedonian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 and represented FYR Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Rusinka" in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was previously a member of the rock band "Moral". He was a student of acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Skopje, where he graduated in 2010 with the drama "Anger" from Stephen King.
Igor Džambazov is a Macedonian actor, showman, TV presenter, comedian, singer, songwriter, and prosaist. He was born on July 15, 1963, in Skopje to composer Aleksandar Džambazov and actress Anče Džambazova. His grandfather was the renowned Macedonian actor Petre Prličko.

Risto Samardžiev is a Macedonian singer and songwriter. He started his musical career when he was 16 years old. He formed the Cilindar group in 1981, which was one of the first New Wave rock bands in the Socialist Republic of Macedonia. He was also the frontman of New Romantic group Haos in Laos.
