Swing Mob was an R&B/hip hop collective consisting of artists and/or record labels first discovered by Jodeci member DeVante Swing. The artists on Swing Mob included: Missy Elliott with the group Sista, Timbaland, Magoo, Ginuwine, Playa, Darryl Pearson, Tweet with the group Sugah, Majik, Jimmy Douglass, Stevie J., Maija Max, Bazaar Royale and Chad "Dr. Seuss" Elliot among others, although all official members had never been confirmed. A list of some known artists in Swing Mob at the time of the group's activity can be found in the liner notes of Jodeci's third studio album, The Show, The After-Party, The Hotel.

Doug Carrion is an American musician, audio engineer, record producer, and music editor. He played bass guitar in the punk rock bands the Descendents and Dag Nasty during the 1980s, and in the hard rock band For Love Not Lisa in the early 1990s, and is currently in Field Day. He has had a long working relationship with Brad "Daddy X" Xavier, playing with him in the punk rock bands Doggy Style and Humble Gods, working with his rap rock group the Kottonmouth Kings in the 2000s, and playing on his solo albums. Carrion has also composed, edited, and recorded music for television and films, including several reality television series and game shows during the 2000s. In 2012 he started his own Americana group, Doug C and the Blacklisted.
Dustin Miller, best known by his stage name D-Loc, is an MC in the rap rock group Kottonmouth Kings and rap group Kingspade. The group was signed to Suburban Noize. Miller has been a part of the Kottonmouth Kings since they were the P town Ballers (PTB) in 1994. Miller is also known by the stage names DJ Shakey Bonez, and D-Double Dash.

Rappers on this album are Saint Dog, D-Loc, and Daddy X. This album include guest appearances by Daddy X's other band, Humble Gods, along with Dog Boy from the band Too Rude. The album peaked at number 17 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart on 15 January 2000. The song "Bump" peaked at number 28 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. In a 2015 interview with Johnny Richter he stated that he was a member of the group but was not featured on it due to a personal issue with a member of the group at the time of the album's release date.

Cloud Nine is the eighth studio album by American hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings. It was released on August 28, 2007, under Suburban Noize Records. Band member Daddy X stated that Cloud Nine is the "most adventurous" Kottonmouth Kings album release to date. Cloud Nine features artists such as Tech N9ne, the Insane Clown Posse, and Cypress Hill. It includes a bonus DVD containing videos for the songs "City 2 City", "Livin' Proof", "Think 4 Yourself", and others that not only include the Kottonmouth Kings, but also that of their newly signed labelmates. The album title was thought up by band member Pakelika. It is meant to show that it is their ninth official album and also referred to the so-called "greatness of being high with the heavens".

This was the first album after adding The Dirtball into the group as well as the only album to date that featured 8 members of the Kottonmouth Kings on the cover of the album, as it was released just prior to Pakelika leaving the group. The album features the likes of Tech N9ne, Insane Clown Posse, and Big B. It features the single, "At It Again", from Johnny Richter's new solo album, "Laughing", as well as a single from The Dirtball, entitled "Mushrooms", which is said to be the sequel to a song he released earlier in his career called "Mushroom Cloud".

Brad "Daddy X" Xavier, David "The Dirtball" Alexander, D.I. members TNT, Joey Glock, and Colt Clayton make up the band. In 2011, X-Pistols released their debut album Shoot to Kill, on Suburban Noize Records.
Hidden Stash V: Bong Loads & B-Sides is the fourth b-sides and rarities collection by the Kottonmouth Kings. It contains b-sides and remixes from the albums Long Live The Kings (2010) and Sunrise Sessions (2011). Unlike Hidden Stash III and Hidden Stash 420, Hidden Stash V does not contain songs by other artists that feature Kottonmouth Kings members. Certain versions of the album include a bonus DVD that includes pranks, music videos, and revisions.
