The official music video for the song was directed by Christopher Erskin. [1] It takes place in a movie theater. It starts with Missy Elliott's voice coming first,then leads into Mocha's rap verse with Nicole standing beside her. Later,in another room,Nicole and her dancers are dancing to the music while Nicole is singing. Cameo appearances are made by Aaliyah,Playa,Keli Nicole Price (who sings the second chorus),Ginuwine,Timbaland and Magoo. The video finishes with them singing the rest of the song and Nicole's dancers.
"Make It Hot" reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, [2] #2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Tracks, [3] #5 on the Top 40 Mainstream, [4] #6 on the Rhythmic Top 40, [5] and #40 on the Top 40 Tracks. [6] The song also hit #22 on the UK charts.

Melissa Arnette "Missy" Elliott,also known as Misdemeanor,is an American rapper,singer,songwriter,and record producer. She began her musical career as a member of the R&B girl group Sista during the 1990s,who were part of the larger musical collective Swing Mob—led by DeVante Swing of Jodeci. The former group's commercially unsuccessful debut album,4 All the Sistas Around da World (1994),was released by Elektra Records and met with positive critical reception. She collaborated with album's producer and Swing Mob cohort Timbaland to work in songwriting and production for other acts,yielding commercially successful releases for 702,Aaliyah,SWV,and Total.
"1,2 Step" is a song by American singer Ciara featuring American rapper Missy Elliott. Written alongside producer Jazze Pha,it was released on November 1,2004,as the second single of the former's debut studio album,Goodies.
