Memoirs of a Playbwoy is JDiggz's first album. The album was distributed by Maxamus Entertainment/Koch Entertainment. The long-awaited album by the Canadian Rapper/Producer featured collaborations with popular artists, such as George Nozuka, Cory Lee, Drake, Voyce Alexander and Fyahkid Steenie.
Jonathan Matthew Poirier, better known by his stage name JDiggz, is a Canadian hip-hop MC and producer of Guyanese and French Canadian descent. He is also one half of the StarBwoyz production Team.
Koch Entertainment was a North American record label and a distributor of film, television, and music. It was purchased by Canadian entertainment company Entertainment One in 2005.

The album produced seven singles, "Hypnotic", "Puush It Up" "Make It Hot", "Gimme Dat", "With You", "Just Wanna Party" and "With You Remix". Music videos for the singles "Puush It Up" "Make It Hot", "Gimme Dat" and "Just Wanna Party" were made and received heavy rotation on MuchMusic . In June 2006, JDiggz was nominated for a MuchMusic Video Awards, MuchVibe Best Rap Video for his club anthem Puush It Up, and again in 2007, Best Cinematography and MuchVibe Best Rap Video for "Make It Hot". The album has also been nominated for a 2008 Juno Award for Best Rap Recording.
The Juno Awards are presented annually to Canadian musical artists and bands to acknowledge their artistic and technical achievements in all aspects of music. New members of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame are also inducted as part of the awards ceremonies.
In a local interview, JDiggz was first congratulated on "Memoirs Of A Playbwoy" and asked if he thought the next album would be even bigger :

Daniel Victor is a Canadian recording artist and producer from Windsor, Ontario, best known for the collaborative music project, Neverending White Lights, which features instrumentation performed mostly by Victor, with guest singers providing vocals for most of the songs.

Promise Jason Jamal Shepherd, professionally known as Promise, is a Canadian hip hop soul artist and songwriter from Toronto. He is currently a member of the group Perfeck Strangers, based in Scarborough, Ontario. Promise has collaborated with Jhené Aiko, Lecrae, Manafest, Andy Mineo, Marco Polo, eLZhi of Slum Village and Royce Da 5'9" of Slaughterhouse. He has also collaborated with fellow Toronto native Drake, whom he met on the set of Degrassi: The Next Generation.
StarBwoyz are a Canadian Production team based out of Toronto, Ontario. The team members include brothers JDiggz and Scotch B.
The 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards were held in Toronto, Ontario at MuchMusic's headquarters on June 15, 2008 with the rain-soaked Red carpet arrivals that started at 8:00pm ET, but was slightly delayed by rainstorms that soaked the crowds and artists, the awards started at 9:00 and ended at 11:00. The show featured performances by illScarlett, Flo Rida, Girlicious, Sean Kingston, JabbaWockeeZ, Simple Plan, the first performance by New Kids on the Block in 15 years and others. The most nominated artist was Hedley with six nominations in which they won four awards. This was the first MMVA to have an afterparty, which was broadcast exclusively on MuchMusic.com, and featured Bedouin Soundclash.

The single was released for digital download on March 8, 2010. The song is midtempo hip-hop featuring an orchestral backdrop and lyrically about an introduction to fame. The song received positive reviews, commending the lyrics among other content.
"Un-Thinkable " is a song by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys from her fourth studio album The Element of Freedom (2009). It was initially scheduled to be the fifth single, but it was released as the fourth single. It was her first single to reach number one on the R&B chart in the United States since 2007's "Like You'll Never See Me Again". "Un-Thinkable " spent twelve consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs, becoming the longest-running number-one single of 2010. The song topped the Billboard Adult R&B Songs, and reached number twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Who Dat" is a song by the American hip hop recording artist J. Cole. It was released as a single in the United States on May 31, 2010. Despite initially being meant to be the lead single from Cole's first album Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011), "Who Dat" was ultimately cut from the album's standard track listing. It does, however, appear as a bonus track on the iTunes edition of the album.

The song was written by Ciara, along with its two producers Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and Kenneth "Soundz" Coby for her fourth studio album, Basic Instinct (2010). "Gimmie Dat" is an uptempo dance song, featuring speedy, kinetic beats and a sensual-breathy tone. The song has been compared to her previous hip hop-flavored dance songs, "Goodies", and "Work", and has also been compared to Missy Elliott's "Work It". "Gimmie Dat" was released as the third single from Basic Instinct on October 15, 2010. In some countries, the song was released alongside "Speechless", as a dual single.

"Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe", is a song by American rapper Kendrick Lamar, from his major-label debut studio album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (2012). The song, produced by frequent collaborator Sounwave of Top Dawg Entertainment in-house production team Digi+Phonics, heavily samples "Tiden Flyver", by Danish electronic group Boom Clap Bachelors. It was originally intended to be a collaboration with American singer Lady Gaga, but her contributions were ultimately excluded from the final recording due to timing issues. A remix of "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" featuring American rapper Jay-Z was sent to radio as the album's fifth single on March 21, 2013, with the original version and another remix featuring British singer Emeli Sandé later being released.

"Worst Behavior" was produced by DJ Dahi, and was written by Drake, Anthony Palman, DJ Dahi, and Detail. The song has peaked at number 89 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. On June 9, 2014, the song was serviced to urban contemporary radio in the United Kingdom as the album's seventh single.
