Malcolm Edward Osborne Brown (born 19 August 1961) is a South African former first-class cricketer.
Born at Durban in August 1961,Brown studied at Worcester College at the University of Oxford. [1] While studying at Oxford,Brown made three appearances in first-class cricket for Oxford University against Lancashire,Gloucestershire,and Nottinghamshire in 1988. [2] He scored 71 runs in his three matches,with a high score of 47. [3] Brown also played rugby union for Oxford University RFC as a centre. [4] After graduating from Oxford,he trained to become a chartered accountant. Starting at Barings Bank in 1989,he emigrated to Hong Kong in 1993 to work for the bank as their head of investment banking in Hong Kong,a position he held until 2004,at which point he became the head of corporate clients for Asia. He returned to Europe in 2008,assuming the position of global head of financial institutions. In October 2013,he was appointed as head of investor relations. [5]

Alfonso Clive Thomas is a South African former professional cricketer. He is a right arm fast-medium bowler and a big hitting lower-order batsman. Playing in South African domestic cricket for North West,Northerns,the Titans,the Lions,and the Dolphins,Thomas has also played English county cricket for Warwickshire and Somerset,Indian Premier League matches for the Pune Warriors,and in Australian domestic cricket for the Adelaide Strikers and the Perth Scorchers. In June 2014,Thomas took four wickets in four balls in a County Championship game against Sussex. He was a pioneer of death bowling in the early years of T20 cricket.

Malcolm Robert Jardine was an English first-class cricketer who played 46 matches,mainly for Oxford University. Although his first-class record was not impressive,he scored 140 in the University Match of 1892 using an unorthodox batting method. He played a few matches for Middlesex but later went to work in India,in effect ending his English first-class career. He played first-class cricket in India for the Europeans and after a successful legal career,returned to England. His son Douglas went on to play cricket for Oxford,Surrey and England,captaining the latter two and being associated with the use of Bodyline bowling.
