The Lithuania national rugby union team represents Lithuania in men's international rugby union competitions. Nicknamed The Knights (Vytis), is considered one of the relatively stronger tier 3 teams in European rugby and currently compete in the second division of the Rugby Europe International Championships in the Rugby Europe Trophy, a competition which is just below the Rugby Europe Championship where the top 6 countries in Europe compete. They are yet to participate in any Rugby World Cup and play in black with a pattern involving the colours red, yellow and green.

The Netherlands women's national rugby sevens team participated in the IRB Women's Sevens Challenge Cup in Hong Kong losing to Spain in the Plate semi-finals, they finished 8th overall. In October 2012, the Netherlands was announced by the International Rugby Board as one of six "core teams" that will compete in all four rounds of the inaugural IRB Women's Sevens World Series in 2012–13. The team finished seventh in the standings. It was later decided that the quarter-finalists at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens would make up the eight core teams for the next series later that year.
The Guam Women's National Sevens Rugby Union Team is Guam's national representative in Rugby sevens. In 2016, they participated in the 2016 Asia Rugby Women's Sevens Series and placed seventh overall. Guam also attended the Asia Rugby Women’s Sevens Trophy tournament in Seria, Brunei in 2018.
The Ukraine women's sevens team competes in the European Women's Sevens Championship and occasionally in other competitions. Ukraine were runners-up at the 2018 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Trophy and were promoted to the Grand Prix Series for 2019.
The Moldova women's national rugby sevens team represents Moldova in women's rugby sevens. They won the FIRA–AER Women's Sevens - Division A in 2010. In 2019 they won the Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Conference and, were promoted to the Trophy division and qualified for the Europe Women's Sevens Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Russia.

Latoya Blackwood is a Canadian rugby union player. She represented Canada at the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup and 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup. She made her debut at the 2013 Nations Cup and retired in 2018.
Qualifying for the 2019 Rugby World Cup for European Rugby began in September 2016, where 5 teams are competing for one direct qualification spot into the final tournament, and a further 26 teams competing, alongside the initial 5 teams, for a place in the Europe/Oceania play-off and or repechage.
The 2017 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Trophy was the second level of international women's rugby sevens competitions organised by Rugby Europe during 2017. The competition featured two tournaments, one hosted in Ostrava and one hosted in Esztergom. Scotland won both tournaments, defeating Germany in both cup finals. Scotland and Germany were promoted to the 2018 Grand Prix series while Malta and Moldova were relegated to the 2018 Conference.

The Austria women's national rugby sevens team competes in the Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Conference. They placed second at the 2017 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Conference and were promoted, along with Norway to the 2018 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Trophy. They placed 11th overall and were relegated to the Women's Sevens Conference for 2019.
The 2018–19 Rugby Europe Conference is the third-level rugby union competition below the premier Championship and Trophy competitions. It is the third Conference under its new format. After Lithuania was promoted to the Trophy and Moldova relegated at the end of the 2017–18 season, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary, Israel, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Sweden and Ukraine compete for the Conference 1 title. While after the relegation of Estonia and the promotion of Bulgaria, Andorra, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia will compete for the Conference 2 title. Due to the relegation of a Conference 2 North team and the promotion of a Southern team, the Conference 2 Pools had to be reallocated. While Bulgaria joined the Conference 2 South, Austria switched pools to the Conference 2 North, replacing Estonia.
The 2022–23 Rugby Europe Women's Trophy is the 22nd edition of Rugby Europe's second division competition for women's national rugby union teams. The winner of the tournament will be promoted to the 2024 Championship.
The 2023 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Conference was held in Belgrade from 9 to 10 June 2023. The tournament consisted of two pool phases in the group stage with three pools of three and a knockout stage that was played for placement.
