Mammoth Film Festival (or "MammothFF") is an annual film festival held every February in Mammoth Lakes, California, United States. Founded in 2018 by Tanner Beard (CEO) and Tomik Mansoori, the festival showcases the work of independent filmmakers, actors, directors, writers, and producers. [1]
The inaugural Mammoth Film Festival was held February 8–11, 2018, and included Sun Dogs , which won the Grand Jury Prize and the awards for Best Picture, Best Director (Jennifer Morrison) and Best Actor (Michael Angarano), [2] [3] as well as Red Hat's Open Source Stories documentary film Road to A.I. [3]
The 2nd Annual Mammoth Film Festival was held February 7–11, 2019, and featured the debut of James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti's original comedy series Everyone Is Doing Great.[ citation needed ]
The 3rd Annual Mammoth Film Festival was held February 27 to March 2, 2020 and premiered: Ludvig Gür's documentary Pretending I'm A Superman: The Tony Hawk Video Game Story; Quentin Tarantino's documentary QT8: The First Eight (with added footage); Zac Efron's Off The Grid destination series featuring the town of Mammoth Lakes; and independent film Runt , starring Cameron Boyce.[ citation needed ]
In late 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 festival was delayed until 2022. [4]

Val Edward Kilmer is an American actor. Originally a stage actor, he found fame after appearances in comedy films, starting with Top Secret! The Adelaide Film Festival is a film festival usually held for two weeks in mid-October in cinemas in Adelaide, South Australia. Originally presented biennially in March from 2003, since 2013 AFF has been held in October. Subject to funding, the festival has staged full or briefer events in alternating years; some form of event has taken place every year since 2015. From 2022 it takes place annually. It has a strong focus on local South Australian and Australian produced content, with the Adelaide Film Festival Investment Fund (AFFIF) established to fund investment in Australian films.

The Sundance Film Festival is an annual film festival organized by the Sundance Institute. It is the largest independent film festival in the United States, with more than 46,660 attending in 2016. It takes place each January in Park City, Utah; Salt Lake City, Utah; and at the Sundance Resort, and acts as a showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers. Sun Dogs is a 2017 American comedy-drama film written by Raoul McFarland and starring Michael Angarano, Melissa Benoist, Xzibit, Allison Janney, and Ed O'Neill. The film marks the feature film directorial debut of actress Jennifer Morrison, who also plays a supporting role in the film. The film premiered at the LA Film Festival in June 2017 and was released on Netflix on April 6, 2018.
