Manmord Sidhu, is an Indo-Canadian film producer, [1] director, [2] [3] and distributor [4] who is primarily known for his work in Punjabi films. Manmord Sidhu was 20 when he moved to Vancouver with his family. There he enrolled in Vancouver Film School. Sidhu made his directorial debut with the blockbuster Best of Luck .

His most famous release is Punjab 1984 released in 2014, which won The National Award in 2014. [5]

<i>Jatt & Juliet 2</i> 2013 film

Jatt & Juliet 2 is a 2013 Indian Punjabi romance comedy film directed by Anurag Singh. The film is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Jatt & Juliet, however not directly or story-wise. Actors Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa reprise their roles from the previous film in the sequel amongst other characters. The film released on 28 June 2013, almost a year after the release of the prequel, and received a positive response at the box office. Jatt & Juliet 2 went on to become the highest-grossing Punjabi film ever, thus beating the record previously held by the first Jatt & Juliet film. Jatt and Juliet 2 will be the first ever Punjabi movie to be released on Blu-ray. The movie was remade in Bengali in 2018 as Inspector Notty K.

Anugrah Bohrey is a Canada-based Indian Film-maker. He started his film career with White Hill Production Inc., as a screenwriter for Best of Luck (2013). He is currently involved with the production of a sport based film, Himmat Singh. He is an alumnus of Vancouver Film School and London Film School.

Gunbir Singh Sidhu is an Indian movie producer. He did his schooling from Saint Stephen's School, Chandigarh & bachelors in technology from NIT Jalandhar and then went on to pursue his master's degree in electric engineering from Imperial College, London.

Sardaarji is a 2015 Indian Punjabi fantasy comedy film directed by Rohit Jugraj, and starring Diljit Dosanjh, Mandy Takhar and Neeru Bajwa in lead roles. The trailer of the film was released on 18 May 2015. Sardaar Ji is one of the first fantasy films to be made in Punjabi cinema. It released on 26 June 2015, and had the biggest opening ever for a Punjabi film in Punjab.

Shareek is a 2015 Punjabi musical drama film directed by Navaniat Singh, starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Guggu Gill, Simar Gill, Oshin Sai, Mukul Dev, Kuljinder Sidhu, Prince KJ, Hobby Dhaliwal, Gulchoo Jolly. It is produced under the banner of Ohri Productions and Green Planet Production. It was first released on 22 October 2015. Mukul Dev was awarded the PTC Punjabi film awards for best actor in a negative role for his performance in the movie.

Manje Bistre is a 2017 Indian Punjabi-language family drama romantic comedy film featuring Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles while Karamjit Anmol, Jaggi Singh, Sardar Sohi and Hobby Dhaliwal in supporting roles. The film is set up in the backdrop of traditional Punjabi wedding. The dialogues are penned by Rana Ranbir, and the story and screenplay is written by Gippy Grewal. Qismat (transl. Destiny) is a 2018 Punjabi romantic drama film written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu. Produced by Shri Narotam Ji Productions, the film stars Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in lead roles along with Guggu Gill, Tania and Harby Sangha in supporting roles. It was titled after a 2017 song of the same name, sung by Virk and starring Mehta in its music video. The film follows a man who falls in love whilst studying in Chandigarh, despite his marriage being arranged to another woman. It marked feature film debut for Tania.

Harby Sangha is an Indian actor, comedian, and singer. He started his professional career as a comedian in 2004 and became an actor with the film Asan Nu Maan Watna Da.He is primarily known for supporting roles in the Punjabi cinema.

Muklawa is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language, comedy-drama filmdirected by Simerjit Singh under the banner of Ammy Virk Productions. The film is produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu. The film stars Ammy Virk, Sonam Bajwa, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol and B.N. Sharma are in leading roles with Gurpreet Bhangu, Sukhwinder Chahal, Rakhi Hundal, Drishtii Garewal and Sarabjit Cheema in are in supporting roles. Muklawa was released worldwide in cinemas on 24 May 2019.

Kamaldeep Singh Dhaliwal, commonly known as Hobby Dhaliwal is an Indian film actor, singer, and politician. He is known for his works in Punjabi and Hindi films. Dhaliwal began his career by debut movie Burrraahh in 2012. The films Angrej (2015), Lahoriye (2017), Jora 10 Numbaria (2017), and Ardaas Karaan (2019) are among his best known works.
