The American University in Cairo is a private research university in Cairo, Egypt. The university offers American-style learning programs at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels, along with a continuing education program.
The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is a regional university operated by the Arab League which runs programs in marine transportation, business, and engineering. AASTMT started as a notion in the Arab League Transport Committee''s meetings on 11th of March, 1970. The Academy's inception was in 1972 in the city of Alexandria, Egypt. After that it expanded into Cairo.

Nasr City is a district of Cairo, Egypt. It is located to the east of the Cairo Governorate and consists mostly of condominia. It was established in the 1960s as an extension to neighboring settlement of Heliopolis. The establishment of the district was part of the Egyptian Government's plan to modernise and expand Cairo following the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. Gamal Abdel Nasser, the Egyptian President at the time, was involved personally in the design process, and was the one who chose the name Nasr for the new district. During the early stages of the project it was envisioned that it would constitute a new capital city. Now, Nasr City is extremely crowded, much more than was expected from the creation of the district, because of Egyptian families relocating to the district and also because of Somali and South Sudanese immigration to areas of Nasr City such as Hay El Asher.
Briarcliff College was a women's college in Briarcliff Manor, New York. The school was founded as Mrs. Dow's School for Girls in 1903 at the Briarcliff Lodge. After Walter W. Law donated land and a building for the college, it operated at its location at 235 Elm Road in Briarcliff until 1977; closing due to low enrollment and financial problems. Pace University subsequently operated it as part of its Pleasantville campus from 1977 to 2015. In an effort to consolidate its campuses, Pace University sold the campus in 2017 to the Research Center on Natural Conservation, a host of conferences relating to global warming and conservation. The campus was again sold in 2021, to a Viznitz Yeshiva congregation.

Zamalek is an affluent district of western Cairo encompassing the northern portion of Gezira Island in the Nile River. The island is connected with the river banks through three bridges each on the east and west sides of the island, including the Qasr El Nil Bridge and 6th October Bridge. It has witnessed many phases of growth affected by many economic and political currents which has led to a crowding of parts of the island including great reductions in the Zamalek district's open green areas, but with a large greenbelt across the island's middle defining the two districts.
The British International School of Houston (BISH), formerly the British School of Houston (BSOH), is a non-sectarian, co-educational college preparatory day school in the Greater Katy region of the Houston area. BISH, which opened in September 2000, offers education for ages 3 to 18. The British International School of Houston is a part of Nord Anglia Education; previously it was operated by the British Schools of America. It moved to its current campus in fall 2016, and was previously in northwest Houston.

Dar El Tarbiah School is an Egyptian educational institution founded in 1958 by Dr. Nawal El Degwi. Dar El Tarbiah was the first English-language instruction medium institution founded by Egyptians. It provides education in the Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 12. The institution currently includes seven schools in Cairo and is one of the first educational institutions in Egypt. It has national, international, American and I.G.C.S.E.(British) sections.
The British International School of Boston is a non-sectarian, co-educational college preparatory day school located in the Moss Hill section of the Jamaica Plain neighborhood in Boston, MA. BISB offers education for ages 3 to 18. The school opened in September 2000 and was the third school opened in the United States by the British Schools of America. Today, BISB is part of Nord Anglia Education, a provider of international schools with the headquarters in Hong Kong that was acquired by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Baring Private Equity Asia in 2017.
