Mantri Prasad Naithani is an Educational and Minister of Water Resources in Uttarakhand,India. He was former Cabinet Minister in the cabinet of N. D. Tiwari (Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand) in the year 2002. Again he was voted in the Devprayag Legislative election and deputed for the Cabinet Minister in Uttarakhand. The address of his Legislative area is Village Sankro (Chauraas),Vikaskhand Kirtinagar,Tehri Garhwal.
Naithani was born on 20 July 1958 in family of Late Nag Dutt Naithani and Late Bhuma Devi in Village Koti,Post Banjiyaal Gaon,Patti Gyarahgaon Hindao,Vikaskhand Bhilangana,District Tehri in state Uttarakhand. He got the bachelor's degree in Arts (B.A) and then he did the bachelor's degree in Law as LLB. After getting the education he got married with Smt. Roshni Devi. At Present He is resident at R-09,Yamuna Colony In Dehradun District of Uttarakhand.

Naithani's achievements and work during the political life are as the following;
Sunderlal Bahuguna was an Indian environmentalist and Chipko movement leader. The idea of the Chipko movement was suggested by his wife Vimla Bahuguna and him. He fought for the preservation of forests in the Himalayas,first as a member of the Chipko movement in the 1970s,and later spearheaded the anti-Tehri Dam movement from the 1980s to early 2004. He was one of the early environmentalists of India,and later he and others associated with the Chipko movement and started taking up wider environmental issues,such as being opposed to large dams.
Garhwal is one of the two administrative divisions of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Lying in the Himalayas,it is bounded on the north by Tibet,on the east by Kumaon,on the south by Uttar Pradesh state,and on the northwest by Himachal Pradesh state. It includes the districts of Chamoli,Dehradun,Haridwar,Pauri Garhwal,Rudraprayag,Tehri Garhwal,and Uttarkashi. The people of Garhwal are known as Garhwali and speak the Garhwali language. The administrative center for Garhwal division is the town of Pauri. The Divisional Commissioner is the administrative head of the Division,and is a senior Indian Administrative Service officer. As the administrative head of the division,the Commissioner is overall incharge of the 7 districts in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand,and is aided in his duties by an additional commissioner and the district magistrates. Sushil Kumar is the divisional commissioner of the Garhwal Division since December 2021.

Vijay Bahuguna was a member of the 14th and 15th Lok Sabhas of India. He represented the Tehri Garhwal constituency of Uttarakhand and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Dinesh Dhanai is an Indian politician. He has run as an independent MLA in Tehri (2012-2017) and served as a minister in the last Congress government in Uttarakhand.

Shoorveer Singh Sajwan is an Indian politician from the Indian National Congress,in the state of Uttarakhand. He won three legislative elections in 1985,1993 and 2002. He belongs to village Panchoor which comes under Devprayag legislative Assembly. In 1985 he won his first election from Devprayag legislative assembly and after that he won his second term from Tehri legislative assembly constituency. Dhan Singh Negi is an Indian politician who was a member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly from 2017 to 2022 representing the Tehri constituency in Tehri Garhwal district. In the 2017 state assembly elections,he defeated Dinesh Dhanai,then Cabinet Minister by a large margin.
Vinod Kandari is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Kandari is a member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly from the Devprayag constituency in the Tehri Garhwal district where he has a residence at Dehradun. He has been MLA for Devprayag consecutively. In the 2017 Assembly election,he defeated his nearest rival Diwakar Bhatt an Independent by a margin of 10,325 votes.
Indramani Badoni also known as the "Gandhi of Uttarakhand," was an Indian educator,politician,environmentalist,folk artist and statehood activist from the present day Indian state of Uttarakhand.
