Manuel de Lambertye (born 16 March 1884, date of death unknown) was a French sports shooter. [1] He competed in the team clay pigeon event at the 1924 Summer Olympics. [2]

Water polo has been part of the Summer Olympics program since the second games, in 1900. A women's water polo tournament was introduced for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Italy is the first and only country to win both the men's and women's water polo tournaments.

Duarte Manuel de Almeida Bello was a Portuguese sailor who competed at the 1948, 1952, 1956, 1960 and 1964 Olympics. He won a silver medal in the Swallow class in 1948, together with his brother Fernando Pinto Coelho Bello, and placed fourth in 1952 and 1956.

Manuel Frederick is an Indian field hockey player who played as goalkeeper from Kannur district in Kerala. He won a bronze medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. He is the 1st Keralite to win an Olympic medal. The second Keralite to win an Olympic medal is P. R. Sreejesh who won a Bronze on 5th Aug 2021 in Tokyo Olympics. Both medals for Kerala have come via the goalkeepers of the National Hockey Team.
