Manzoor Ahmed (born 2 January 1992) is a Pakistani former international footballer who played as a defender. [1] He is the secretary of sports in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. [2]

Khurram Manzoor is a Pakistani international cricketer. He is a right-hand opening batsman who also bowls off-spin. He made his first-class cricket debut in the 2003–04 season, before representing Pakistan for the first time in the 5th One Day International (ODI) against Zimbabwe in Sheikhupura in February 2007. In total, Manzoor has played seven Tests and scored three half centuries. He performed well in two Tests for Pakistan A against West Indies A and scored 3 centuries. Subsequently, he was included in Pakistan's Test squad for the series against New Zealand.

1992 was a year mixed with euphoria and tragedy for Pakistan. While Pakistan won the finals of the Cricket World Cup, thousands died in the flooding that occurred in the northern regions of Pakistan as a result of torrential rains swelling the Indus river. The Nawaz government inaugurated a few projects in the province of Punjab towards the betterment of road networks and ordered a military operation in the province of Sindh to counter the growing language riots and ethnic tension.

Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan is a non-profit government adventure sports association in Balochistan, Pakistan. It consists of young boys and girls dedicated to the promotion of mountain adventure, sports climbing and associated sports. Its goals are to protect the new generation from dangerous drug abuse, by providing them with healthy sporting opportunities, organizing training camps, and national and provincial level event expeditions. 95% of all the players receiving training from CAAB are students of schools and colleges in Balochistan. Adeel Ahmed is a former Pakistani footballer who played as a midfielder. He won national cup twice with Pakistan Telecommunication, in 2003 and 2005. He was the Pakistan Premier League's Player of the Year in 2005–06 and 2006–07.

Popular sports in Jammu and Kashmir include cricket, football and winter sports along with sports like golf, water sports, Ice stock sport and adventure sports. The National Winter Games have been held in Gulmarg in 1996, 2004 and 2009. The first Khelo India Winter Games were held in February and March 2020 in Leh and Gulmarg. Jammu and Kashmir won the most gold medals while the Indian Army team came second with 8 gold medals.
