Marc Bischofberger (born 26 January 1991) is a Swiss freestyle skier competing in ski cross discipline.
He finished 16th at the 2015 World Championships and 10th at the 2017 World Championships. He then won the silver medal at the 2018 Olympic Games. [1]
He made his World Cup debut in March 2013 in Åre. He recorded his first top-10 in December 2013, when finishing seventh in Innichen, and won his first World Cup event in January 2015 in Val Thorens. [1]
Ole Einar Bjørndalen is a retired Norwegian professional biathlete and coach, often referred to by the nickname, the "King of Biathlon". With 13 Winter Olympic Games medals, he is second on the list of multiple medalists behind Marit Bjørgen who has won 15 medals. Ski cross is a skiing competition which incorporates terrain features traditionally found in freestyle skiing with courses which include big-air jumps and high-banked turns. In spite of the fact that it is a timed racing event, it is often considered a type of freestyle skiing. What sets ski cross apart from other alpine skiing disciplines is that it involves more than one skier racing down the course. Mikaël Kingsbury is a Canadian freestyle skier and is the most accomplished mogul skier of all time. He achieved eminence early in his career after earning the 2009–10 FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year award. He is a nine-time FIS Freestyle World Cup title-holder for both moguls and overall freestyle, owning the records for most men's Moguls World Cup titles and Overall Freestyle World Cup titles. He also owns the records for career World Cup moguls victories with 71, and consecutive Freestyle World Cup event wins with 13. He is the first man to have won both the moguls and dual moguls World Championship events, and has won the most medals at the Freestyle World Championships of any male competitor in history, having won a medal in 11 of the 12 events he has competed in. Evgenii Dmitriyevich Klimov is a Russian ski jumper and a former Nordic combined skier. He is the first Russian in history who won an individual ski jumping World Cup event for men. He also took the Grand Prix 2018 overall title in ski jumping. He also has the national record for the longest ski jump with 237m. At the 2022 Olympics, he was part of the mixed team which won the silver medal.
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo is a Norwegian cross-country skier who represents Byåsen IL. He holds multiple records, most notably for being the youngest male in history to win the FIS Cross-Country World Cup, the Tour de Ski, a World Championship event, and an Olympic event in cross-country skiing.
The men's ski cross competition in freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics will be held on 18 February, at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. Ryan Regez of Switzerland won the event, and his compatriot Alex Fiva won the silver medal, the first Olympic medals for both of them. Sergey Ridzik, representing the Russian Olympic Committee, won the bronze medal, replicating his 2018 success.
