Val Joe "Rudy" Galindo is an American former competitive figure skater who competed in both single skating and pair skating. As a single skater, he is the 1996 U.S. national champion, 1987 World Junior Champion, and 1996 World Bronze medalist. As a pairs skater, he competed with Kristi Yamaguchi and was the 1988 World Junior Champion and the 1989 and 1990 U.S. National Champion. He is the first openly gay skating champion in the United States, though US, World and Olympic champion Brian Boitano came out long after his career was over.
Paul Lloyd Martini is a Canadian former pair skater. With partner Barbara Underhill, he is the 1979–1983 Canadian national champion, the 1984 World champion, and the 1978 World Junior champion. They represented Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics, where they placed 9th, and at the 1984 Winter Olympics, where they placed 7th. Less than a month after the 1984 Olympics, they redeemed themselves by winning the World Championship in Ottawa. After that competition, they began an lengthy and successful professional career.
Melissandre Fuentes is an Andorran figure skater. She is the 2004 and 2005 Andorran national champion. Her younger sister Lydia Fuentes competes internationally on the junior level.
The U.S. Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of the United States. The competition is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. In the U.S. skating community, the event is often referred to informally as "Nationals". Medals are currently awarded in four disciplines: men's (boys') singles, ladies' (girls') singles, pair skating, and ice dancing in four colors: gold (first), silver (second), bronze (third), and pewter (fourth) on two levels, senior and junior. Medals were previously given at the novice, intermediate, and juvenile levels. The event is also used to determine the U.S. teams for the World Championships, World Junior Championships, Four Continents Championships, and Winter Olympics, however, U.S. Figure Skating reserves the right to consider other results.
Steve Hartsell is an American former competitive pair skater. With sister Danielle Hartsell, he is the 1999 U.S. National Champion and the 1997 World Junior Champion. After his sister retired, he skated with Marcy Hinzmann and Kristen Roth.
Donald Adair is an American former ice dancer. With Renée Roca, he is the 1986 U.S. national champion. An injury led to Adair's sudden retirement from competitive skating prior to the 1987 World Championships. He married Kelley Morris, the 1977 U.S. junior champion in ice dancing. They have coached at the Indiana Skating Academy in Indianapolis and the Louisville Skating Academy in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mark Mitchell is an American retired competitive figure skater. He is a three-time medalist at the United States Figure Skating Championships and placed as high as fourth at the World Figure Skating Championships. He currently works as a coach and choreographer in Boston with Peter Johansson.
Scott Williams is an American figure skating coach and former competitor. He is the 1982 World Junior champion, 1984 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion, 1985 Skate Canada International silver medalist, and a three-time U.S. national medalist. He finished within the top ten at two World Championships.
Marc-André Craig is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2004 Nebelhorn Trophy champion, 2004 Finlandia Trophy bronze medallist, and 2005 Golden Spin of Zagreb silver medallist. He placed fourth at the 2006 Four Continents Championships.
Vitaliy Viktorovych Yehorov or Vitali Egorov is a former competitive figure skater for the Soviet Union. He is the 1986 Skate Canada International champion, the 1986 Nebelhorn Trophy champion, the 1979 World Junior champion, a two-time Winter Universiade silver medalist, and the 1984 Soviet national champion.
Michael Chrolenko is a Norwegian figure skater. He is the 2006-2007 Norwegian National Champion and the 2003-2005 Norwegian Junior National Champion. He has competed four times at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships and once at the European Figure Skating Championships. He is the 2005 Nordic Championships champion on the junior-level.
Megan Williams-Stewart is an American former competitive figure skater. She is the 2006 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion and 2007 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist. She began representing Puerto Rico in the 2008–09 season and became the 2009 Puerto Rican national silver medalist.
Evgenia Filonenko is a Ukrainian former pair skater. She competed with Igor Marchenko and Aleksandr Chestnikh. With Marchenko, she placed 11th at the 1998 Winter Olympics. They won two medals at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships, a silver in 1996 and a bronze in 1995. They are the 1998 Ukrainian national champions.
Bertalan Zakany is a Hungarian figure skater. He is the 2002 Hungarian national champion. His highest placement at an ISU Championship was 26th at the 2002 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. He has also competed at the European Figure Skating Championships and the World Figure Skating Championships. He currently plays Pinocchio in Pinocchio On Ice.
Jaimee Eggleton is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He competed at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
Caroline Haddad is a Canadian figure skating coach and former competitive pair skater. With Jean-Sébastien Fecteau, she is the 1992 and 1994 World Junior silver medallist and the 1993 Nebelhorn Trophy champion.
Marc Ferland is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He is the 1984 World Junior silver medalist. He retired from competition in the 1980s and later started a singing career. He sang the Canadian national anthem during the opening ceremony at the 2007 Skate Canada International and the finale "This is the Moment" during the figure skating exhibition gala at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Ralph Scott McCreath was a Canadian figure skater who competed in single skating, pair skating, ice dancing, and fours. He competed in pairs with Veronica Clarke, Norah McCarthy, Eleanor O'Meara, Bunty Lang, and Betty Chambers, and in fours with fours with Dorothy Caley, Hazel Caley, and Montgomery Wilson, winning the 1939 North American title.
Philippe Roncoli is a French former competitive figure skater. He is the 1983 World Junior silver medalist, 1986 NHK Trophy bronze medalist, and 1987 French national champion. Roncoli placed seventh at the 1987 European Championships in Sarajevo and 18th at the 1987 World Championships in Cincinnati. He was coached by Alain Giletti in Chamonix.
Tòn Cónsul Vivar is a Spanish pair skater. With his former skating partner, Laura Barquero, he is the 2020 Spanish national champion and competed in the final segment at the 2020 European Championships.
