Richard Michael Daley is an American politician who served as the 54th mayor of Chicago,Illinois,from 1989 to 2011. Daley was elected mayor in 1989 and was reelected five times until declining to run for a seventh term. At 22 years,his was the longest tenure in Chicago mayoral history,surpassing the 21-year mayoralty of his father,Richard J. Daley.

He was sentenced to four months in jail and was released on probation after serving 99 days.

He was first elected to a term beginning on January 3,2000,and was re-elected to a second term beginning in 2004. He is a Democrat and became mayor after having served 19 years in the Philadelphia City Council,including seven years as its president,before resigning as required under the Philadelphia City Charter in order to run for mayor. He followed Ed Rendell as mayor,assuming the post on January 3,2000. Street was Philadelphia's second black mayor.
Albert Alonzo "Doc" Ames was an American physician and politician who held four non-consecutive terms as mayor of Minneapolis,Minnesota. His fourth term was marked by multiple prosecutions for political corruption,extortion,and racketeering in a scandal which was publicized nationwide by muckraking journalist Lincoln Steffens in a 1903 article in McClure's Magazine titled The Shame of Minneapolis. Ames was found guilty of corruption,but after a successful appeal and multiple mistrials the charges were dropped. Erik Rivenes,however,has called the downfall of Mayor Ames,"one of the greatest political scandals in Minnesota history."

Michael Mark Applebaum is a former Canadian politician who served as interim mayor of Montreal between his appointment by the city council on November 16,2012,and his resignation on June 18,2013. On June 17,2013,he was arrested and indicted on 14 charges including fraud,conspiracy,breach of trust,and corruption in municipal affairs. He resigned the following day. On January 26,2017,Applebaum was found guilty of eight of these charges,and subsequently sentenced to a year in prison and two years probation for extorting $60,000 worth of bribes from real estate developers as borough mayor in Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce between 2006 and 2012. On June 6,2017,Applebaum was granted parole two months after serving one-sixth of his sentence when he admitted to his crimes.

Place Bell is a multi-purpose arena in Laval,Quebec,Canada. The complex includes a 10,000-seat main arena,which is the home of the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League (AHL),and two smaller community ice rinks,one of which has Olympic-size ice.
