Marcelo Ryan Silvestre dos Santos (born 8 June 2002) commonly known as Marcelo Ryan is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for J1 League club, FC Tokyo, on loan from Sagan Tosu.
On 8 August 2022, Marcelo Ryan was abroad to Japan for the first time and signing to J2 club, Yokohama FC for mid 2022 season. [1]
On 7 January 2024, Marcelo Ryan was announce official transfer to J1 club, Sagan Tosu for 2024 season. [2]
On 4 January 2025, Marcelo Ryan was announce official loan transfer to fellow J1 club, FC Tokyo for 2025 season. [3]
Marcelo Ryan Silvestre dos Santos is best known for his physical presence within the opposition box, often at times rising above defenders to win headers. He utilises crosses well, making the most of balls played in the air. His towering height at 1.88m enables him to win areal duels with ease aiding his teams build up play.
