March4Women is a global movement and campaign for gender equality run by the international development charity CARE International. Since 2011, thousands of people have joined an annual march in central London held on or near International Women's Day on 8 March. [1]

2021 - Stop telling half the story

The 2021 event was a remote event due to the COVID-19 pandemic; participants included actress Helena Bonham Carter and actor Stephen Fry. [2]

2020 - There is no climate justice without gender justice

2020's theme focused on the gendered impact of the climate emergency. The theme highlighted how women are often at the forefront of the battle against climate change, whilst also most vulnerable to its impact. [3]

Attendees included actresses Natalie Dormer [4] and Nicola Coughlan, [5] singer Emeli Sandé, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, singer Ricky Wilson and actor George MacKay [5] plus Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn. [6]

2019

In 2019, the campaign celebrated the centenary anniversary of women being able to become lawyers and advocated for the UK government to sign into law a global convention to protect workers from workplace harassment. [7]

Attendees included Bonham Carter, actor David Tennant, jurist Lady Hale, actress Nicola Thorp, activist Gina Martin, singer-songwriter Annie Lennox, singer and actress Beverley Knight and singer Imelda May. [7]

2018

Theresa May, then British Prime Minister, tweeted support to participants in the 2018 march. [8] March attendees included broadcaster and co-founder of the Women's Equality Party, Sandi Toksvig, Labour MP Dawn Butler, [1] and singer Natalie Imbruglia. [9]

Though Our Version of Events is her first album release, Sandé has been active in the industry since 2009, most notably appearing on singles by Chipmunk and Wiley. The album features R&B, soul and pop music.

Live at the Royal Albert Hall is the debut live album by Scottish recording artist Emeli Sandé. The album was released on 18 February 2013. The set features the headline concert filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall on 11 November 2012. The set includes Sandé's hit singles, and songs from her number one selling debut album Our Version of Events. The set also includes a cover from one of Sandé's idols, Nina Simone, as well as two new songs, "Enough" and "Pluto". Professor Green made a brief appearance during "Read All About It, Pt. III" and Labrinth and Sandé performed "Beneath Your Beautiful" during the encore.

Kingdom Coming is an extended play (EP) by Scottish singer songwriter Emeli Sandé, released on 3 November 2017 by Virgin Records. Kingdom Coming is Sandé's third EP following 2013 iTunes Sessions and 2016's Live from London Bridge, and also follows Sandé's second studio album Long Live the Angels (2016). The EP features Harlem rapper Dave East, as well as collaborations with UK grime rappers Giggs and Wretch 32.

Jane Aeberhard-Hodges is a lawyer, gender equality consultant and former Director of the International Labour Organization's Gender Equality Bureau. She now serves as an advisor to the Every Woman Coalition. She specializes in public international law, comparative labour law and human rights law.
