March of Ghosts is the seventh studio album by Norwegian rock band Gazpacho. The album was released worldwide on March 12, 2012 by Kscope . [1]
The end of 2011 the band brought up the news that "March Of Ghosts" will be the band's 7th studio album and the follow-up to Missa Atropos . While as mentioned Missa Atropos was a long story about one person leaving everything behind, March of Ghosts is a collection of short stories. The idea behind the album was to have the lead character spend a night where all these ghosts (dead and alive) would march past him to tell their stories. Characters include Haitian war criminals, the crew of the Mary Celeste, a returning American World War I soldier who finds himself in 2012 and the ghost of an English comedy writer who was wrongly accused of treason. They are short stories. They are a march of ghosts. They are tales that need to be told. [1]
Jon-Arne Vilbo stated: "March Of Ghosts was written in a day long jamming session in the studio where we took a weekend off from family and commitments. We're very happy with the result and it has given us inspiration thinking how far can we actually take this, and think if this actually was our profession!" [2]

Deep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertford, Hertfordshire, in 1968. They are considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock, although their musical approach has changed over the years. Streets: A Rock Opera is the sixth studio album by the American heavy metal band Savatage and is a rock opera dealing with the rise and fall of the fictional musician DT Jesus. They started making music together in 1996 and the band has since expanded with Mikael Krømer, Robert R Johansen (drums), and Kristian Torp (bass).
Kscope is an independent record label that is part of Snapper Music, and a sister-label of Peaceville. It is dedicated to artists in the progressive rock genre. The label has released albums by Steven Wilson and his projects Porcupine Tree, No-Man and Blackfield. In 2008 it branched out and has since signed the post-progressive artists Anathema, Lunatic Soul and Ulver, and progressive rock stalwart Ian Anderson to their roster. In 2013, the Steven Wilson release The Raven That Refused To Sing received the Album of the Year award at the Progressive Music Awards.

Their second album and major label debut, Infestissumam, was released in 2013, debuted at number one in Sweden, and won the Grammis Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album. The band released their third studio album, Meliora, in 2015 to much critical acclaim and high record sales, reaching number one in their home country of Sweden, and number eight in the United States. Its lead single, "Cirice", earned them the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. The band released their fourth studio album, Prequelle, in 2018.
