Marcin Kolusz (born 18 January 18 1985) is a professional Polish ice hockey right wing. He plays for Podhale Nowy Targ of the Polska Hokej Liga.
Kolusz played junior hockey with Podhale Nowy Targ, and was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 5th round (157th overall) in the 2003 NHL entry draft. He then spent one year in North America with the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League, before returning to Europe, spending several years with teams in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Kolusz returned to Poland in 2009, and has played in the PHL since then. He has also played internationally for the Polish national team in several tournaments.

Nowy Targ is a town in southern Poland, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is located in the Orava-Nowy Targ Basin at the foot of the Gorce Mountains, at the confluence of the Czarny Dunajec and the Biały Dunajec. It is the seat of the Nowy Targ County and the rural Gmina Nowy Targ, as well as the Tatra Euroregion.
Tomasz Valtonen is a Polish-born Finnish former professional ice hockey forward. He is currently the head coach for HK Dukla Ingema Michalovce. He coached the Poland men's national ice hockey team from 2018-2020. Valtonen was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings as their second-round draft pick in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
Podhale Nowy Targ is a Polish professional ice hockey team based in Nowy Targ, Poland. They currently play in the Polska Hokej Liga. Legally, they are known as SSA KH Podhale Nowy Targ, and TatrySki Podhale Nowy Targ for sponsorship reasons, while Tauron Podhale Nowy Targ is used from 2020.
Sergei Sergeevich Ogorodnikov was a Russian professional ice hockey center. Ogorodnikov most recently played in Poland with the SSA KH Podhale Nowy Targ of the Polska Hokej Liga. Ogorodnikov died on 24 June 2018 as a result of a jet ski accident.

The Polish Ice Hockey Federation is the governing body that oversees ice hockey in Poland. Founded in Warsaw on February 22, 1925 by representatives of the 4 Polish hockey clubs: Polonia Warsaw, AZS Warszawa, Warszawianka Warszawa and Warszawskie Towarzystwo Łyżwiarskie.

Mirosław Piotr Copija, is a Polish former ice hockey player. He played for Podhale Nowy Targ, SMS Warszawa, and GKS Tychy during his career. He also played for the Polish national team at the 1988 Winter Olympics and 1989 World Championship, and several lower division tournaments. With Podhale he won the Polish league championship five years in a row, from 1993 to 1997.

Fryźlewicz won the Polish league championship six times during his career: in 1967 with Legia, and 1969 and from 1971 to 1974 with Podhale. After his playing career he coached Podhale.

He also played for the Polish national team at the 1972 Winter Olympics and multiple World Championships. Kacik won the Polish league championship six times in his career, all with Podhale. In 1971 he was voted the best player in Poland. His grandson, Patryk Wronka, also plays ice hockey and has represented Poland internationally.
Andrzej Karol Wołkowski, was a Polish ice hockey player. He played for Sokół Kraków, Cracovia, Ogniwo Kraków, Gwardia Kraków, and Sparta Nowy Targ during his career. With Cracovia Wołkowski won the Polish league championship three times, in 1937, 1946, and 1947. He also played for the Polish national team at the 1936 Winter Olympics, and multiple World Championships. After his playing career he became a coach, winning the 1965 Polish league championship with Podhale Nowy Targ. He was also awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
Józef Jan Słowakiewicz is a Polish former ice hockey player. He played for Podhale Nowy Targ and Legia Warsaw during his career. With Podhale Słowakiewicz won the Polish hockey league championship eight times. He also played for the Polish national team at several World Championships as well as the 1972 Winter Olympics.
Andrzej Szal was a Polish ice hockey player. He played for Podhale Nowy Targ and Legia Warsaw during his career. Szal also played for the Polish national team at the 1964 Winter Olympics and the 1966 World Championships. He died on 4 September 2015.
