Markus Marek (born January 8, 1961) is a former American football linebacker who played three seasons with the Boston/New Orleans/Portland Breakers of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at Ohio State University. and attended Brookfield High School in Brookfield, Ohio. [1] Marek led the Ohio State Buckeyes in tackles from 1980 to 1982 and was a consensus All-American in 1982. He is the career leader in tackles for Ohio State. [2] [3]

The Browns chose Thomas with the third overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft. He was invited to the Pro Bowl in each of his first 10 seasons and did not miss a single play in his career until the 2017 season ; his 10,363 consecutive snaps played is the longest streak since the NFL began recording snap counts in 1999. He is regarded as one of the best offensive linemen of all time. In 2023, Thomas was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, becoming the first Cleveland Brown inductee since their reactivation in 1999.

Johnie Earl Cooks was an American professional football player who was a linebacker for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Cooks was selected by the Baltimore Colts as the second overall pick in the 1982 NFL Draft. He played from 1982 to 1991 for the Colts, New York Giants, and Cleveland Browns. He was a member of the Giants when they defeated the Buffalo Bills 20–19 in Super Bowl XXV. Cooks played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
