Alice Springs is a town in the Northern Territory,Australia;the third largest settlement after Darwin and Palmerston. The name Alice Springs was given by surveyor William Whitfield Mills after Alice,Lady Todd,wife of the telegraph pioneer Sir Charles Todd.
