Kurt Erik Nilsen is a Norwegian pop/country singer. He won the first season of the Norwegian reality show Idol, which aired on TV 2 in May 2003. He then won a one-off international version of Pop Idol called World Idol on 1 January 2004, featuring winners of the various national Idol shows.

In Orbit is the second studio album by Petra Marklund, performing as September. It was released on 26 October 2005 by Catchy Tunes, making it September's first album with the label. The album was supported by three singles; "Satellites", "Looking for Love" and "Cry for You", all which reached at top twenty in Sweden, and two promotional singles; "Flowers on the Grave" and "It Doesn't Matter". The album debuted and peaked at 17 on the Swedish Album Chart, and peaked at 36 on the Finnish Album Chart. In Poland, the album was re-released as a limited edition in 2007, including remixes and a DVD with music videos. This edition peaked at No. 10 and was certified Gold for sales of over 10,000 units. September won a Swedish Grammis Award for In Orbit in the category Club/Dance of the Year in February 2006.

They are probably best known as the producers and cowriters behind several of Train's major hits after 2009, including "Drive By" and their comeback single "Hey, Soul Sister", which is among the 20 highest selling singles of all time in the US. Espionage has received numerous BMI Awards.

Rediscovered is the fifth studio album by English-Norwegian pop group A1. The album was released on 2 November 2012 in Norway, exclusively through daWorks Records. Two singles have thus far been released from the album: "Just Three Words", featuring singer Annie Khalid, which was released as a promotional single in April 2012, and the album's official lead single, "Trust Me", released on 5 October 2012. The album debuted at number 17 in Norway, becoming their lowest-charting album in their career. "Christopher Columbus" was released as the album's third single in April 2013. "That Somebody Is Me" has been released as a free track on 17 October 2014, during the Big Reunion Tour. This is the last album as a trio before original member Paul Marazzi returned to the group nearly six years later.
"When Susannah Cries" is a 1997 song by Norwegian singer Espen Lind. It was released as the second single from his second album, Red (1997), first under the moniker, 'Sway', but later it was re-released under his own name. A slow, piano-driven ballad, it features strings from the Oslo Philharmonic and was a major hit in several European and Latin-American countries, including Norway, where it was number-one for six weeks. It peaked within the top 10 in at least eleven countries, like Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. On the Eurochart Hot 100, the single reached number 18 in April 1998. Same year, Lind received the Norwegian Grammy Award, Spellemannprisen for the Song of the Year with "When Susannah Cries".
