Maria Chiara Ramorino (born 13 April 1931) is an Italian orienteer and a former tennis player.
She won two medals at the Summer Universiade. [1] After her tennis career she became a proponent of the sport of Orienteering, and in 2008 wrote also a book of this theme. [2] She was also a scientist, among the researchers who participated to the first Italian missions to Antarctica in the early 1990s, and manager of the Italian team that compiled and promulgated the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica, 1998–2006. The Ramorino Glacier in Antarctica was named after her in 2006 by US-ACAN.

Daniela Hantuchová is a Slovak tennis commentator and retired player. She also reached the quarterfinals of that year's Wimbledon Championships and US Open, ending the year in the top ten. Maria Yuryevna Kirilenko is a Russian former professional tennis player. A junior Grand Slam champion at the 2002 US Open at the age of 15, she went on to become a top-ten player in both singles and doubles. Kirilenko won six WTA Tour singles titles and 12 doubles titles. She was a three-time major singles quarterfinalist, a semifinalist at the 2012 London Olympics, and reached a career-high ranking of world No. 10, on 10 June 2013. In women's doubles, she became ranked as high as No. 5 in the world on 24 October 2011, and reached two major finals, at the 2011 Australian Open with Azarenka and the 2012 French Open with compatriot Nadia Petrova. She is a former world No. 1 in doubles, a ranking which she first achieved on 6 February 2006 and held for 61 consecutive weeks. Also a former top ten singles player, Stosur reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 4 on 21 February 2011 and spent a total of 165 weeks ranked inside the top ten, between March 2010 and June 2013. Stosur was also the top-ranked Australian singles player for 452 consecutive weeks, from October 2008 to June 2017, and was ranked inside the top 25 for a period of nine straight years. Victoria Fiodaraŭna Azarenka is a Belarusian professional tennis player. She has been ranked as the world No. 1 in women's singles by the WTA, having held the position for a total of 51 weeks. Ramorino Glacier is the 4.5 nautical miles long glacier situated northwest of upper Crosswell Glacier and southeast of Cervellati Glacier on the east slope of Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It flows northeastwards between Epperly Ridge and Shinn Ridge, and enters Crosswell Glacier northwest of Mount Segers. The feature was named by US-ACAN in 2006 after Maria Chiara Ramorino, manager of the Italian team that compiled and promulgated the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica, 1998–2006.
