Mariam Batsashvili [a] (born 1 June 1993) is a classical pianist from Georgia.
Batsashvili started playing piano when she was 5 under Natalia Natsvlishvili at the E. Mikeladze Central Music School before continuing at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar with Grigory Gruzman. [1] In 2014, she won the 10th Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht, after having already triumphed in the International Franz Liszt Competition for Young Pianists in Weimar in 2011. [2] [3]
The following year, she had received the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Prize and she spent the 2016–17 season as a ‘Rising Star’ of the European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO). [4]
Since 2017 she has been an official Yamaha artist.
Between 2017 and 2019, Mariam Batsashvili was one of the BBC's New Generation Artists [5]
In 2019, her debut album with Warner Classics (Chopin-Liszt) was released.

He won the 1st prize on the 10th Hungarian National Piano Competition, and in the Andor Földes Piano Competition of Liszt Academy of Music in 2003. He was the winner of the 43. "Arcangelo Speranza" International Piano Competition in Taranto Italy, May 2005, 3rd prize winner of the 25. International Piano Competition „Ettore Pozzoli” in Milan-Seregno in 2007. In 2007 Balázs Fülei got a special prize in the 13. International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He was selected twice to the New Masters On Tour by The International Holland Music Sessions in The Netherlands and played in 2007 in the Concertgebouw, Diligentia Den Haag and other capitals in Europe. He performed in a DVD recording in May 2006 in Tokyo, Japan with the ballades of Chopin and Liszt, then made his New York debut in Carnegie Hall, 2008. Balázs Fülei plays chamber and contemporary music many times, he played world prémieres of Hungarian composers. He is an artist of the Starlet Music Management.

Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest is a long-standing competition founded by the Office of International Music Competitions in Budapest as one of 17 competitions under the flagship name of "Budapest International Music Competition." The Franz Liszt International Piano Competition debuted in 1933 under the leadership of Ernő Dohnányi of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, where the competition was held.
Marina Yakhlakova is a prizewinning Russian classical pianist. She began learning to play aged 5. After four years of private coaching with Vitaly Mishchenko she continued her professional education at the Gnessin State Musical College for gifted children and later at the Moscow Conservatory. She also completed a post-graduate course at the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin. In 2011, Yakhlakova became the third person in her direct teaching line to win a competition dedicated to the namesake of Franz Liszt, after her teacher Alexander Strukov and his teacher, Lev Vlassenko. In June 2015, Yakhlakova made it to the first round of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition but was subsequently eliminated.
