Marilyn Jess (born Dominique Troyes; October 26, 1959) is a French former erotic and pornographic actress. [1] For almost ten years, from 1977 to 1986, she was one of the best-known actresses in the French porn film industry, along with Brigitte Lahaie. Jess was nicknamed "Platinette" because of her blonde hair and was characterized by liveliness and naturalness. Through her courtesy and proverbial sincerity, she gained sympathy for the entire profession. [2]
Marilyn Jess starred as an actress in more than 83 films from 1977 to 1986. She performed under the names Dominique Royes, Dominique Troy, Dominique Troyes, Marilyn Wild, Patinette and Platinette. At the end of the 1980s, she ended her career in the porn film industry because she feared being infected with HIV. [1]
In 1984, she took on the role of Nadine in the fourth part of the Emmanuelle film series. [3] She also appeared in a music video by Bernard Lavilliers and Nicoletta interpreting the song Idées noires . [2]
Jess has been married to her husband, porn director Didier Philippe-Gérard (aka Michel Barny) and son of the composer Michel Philippe-Gérard since 1984 and has two children. [4]
