Marina All Suites Hotel is a luxury beach-front boutique hotel in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, located at Avenue Delfim Moreira 696. It is described by Frommer's as "the brainchild of a consortium of local architects and decorators who bought, gutted, and redecorated all of the rooms". [1] During the renovation they reduced the number of rooms per floor to three to double the rooms in size. [1] The hotel contains a notable restaurant named Bar d' Hotel, described as one of the trendiest in the city. [2] The two-bedroom "Suite Diamante" is said to be the favorite room of supermodel Gisele Bündchen when she is in Rio de Janeiro. [1]

Serviços Aéreos Cruzeiro do Sul was the second oldest airline of Brazil, tracing its origins to 1927, when it was founded as Syndicato Condor, a subsidiary of Deutsche Luft Hansa. Syndicato Condor retained rights and interests of a former German trade company, Condor Syndikat, which previously operated passenger and mail services in Brazil. It was renamed Cruzeiro do Sul in 1943. In 1975, Varig, a Brazilian airline which shared very similar origins, acquired its controlling shares. In 1993, it was finally merged into Varig.

It was built by entrepreneur Rocha Miranda for the International Exhibition of 1922 to commemorate the centennial of Brazil's independence. It opened on August 15, 1922. The hotel was designed by Joseph Gire, who also designed the Copacabana Palace. It was reportedly the first reinforced concrete building to be built in South America and was erected with the aid of German engineers.

Hazlitt's is a townhouse hotel located at 6 Frith Street, Soho, London, in very close proximity to Soho Theatre. The building is Georgian and dates back to 1718, four storeys, with typical long Georgian-bay windows painted in beige. Owned by Peter McKay and Douglas Blain, it is named after the essayist William Hazlitt who died in the house in 1830; he has a blue plaque on the wall to the left of the front door. Due to its heritage, the hotel is popular with writers, but also artists, actors and models. It was awarded the César Award for London Hotel of the Year by The Good Hotel Guide in 2002.
