Marina Tower Melbourne is a residential development in Melbourne Docklands, featuring a 43-storey inclined tower and a 36-storey inclined tower that are conjoined to the 21st floor and then diverge at five degree angles. The development also includes a seven-storey Four Points by Sheraton hotel. [3]

Ocean Village, Southampton

Ocean Village is a mixed-use marina, residential, business and leisure development on the mouth of the River Itchen in Southampton, on the south coast of England. Originally the site of Southampton's first working docks, the "Outer Dock" which opened in 1842, the area was redeveloped in 1986 and became the leisure marina it is today. As of 2020, Marina 101 is also the 30th-tallest building in the world. Construction began in 2006, with completion initially scheduled for 2014. Despite the construction's completion in 2017, the building remains incomplete after the original developer - Sheffield Holdings Limited - ran out of capital. Federal Coffee Palace

The Federal Hotel and Coffee Palace was a large elaborate Second Empire style temperance hotel in the city centre of Melbourne, Victoria, built in 1888 at the height of Melbourne's Boom era, and controversially demolished in 1973. Located on Collins Street, Melbourne's premier thoroughfare, on the corner of King Street, near Spencer Street Station, it is prominent in lists of the buildings Melburnian's most regret having lost.

Having topped out in November 2019, it became the tallest building in Australia by roof height, surpassing the Eureka Tower, and the second-tallest building in Australia by full height, surpassed by Q1 Tower. The World Class Land development project consists of a 316.7 m (1,039 ft) tall apartment building with 1,105 apartments over 100 floors. Construction of the revised Fender Katsalidis Architects–design by Brookfield Multiplex commenced in 2015, and was completed in 2020.

6 & 8 Parramatta Square is a skyscraper currently under construction in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia, a centrepiece of the Parramatta Square development. The building is a commercial skyscraper which will comprise 120,000 square metres (1,300,000 sq ft) of office space and be 233 metres (764 ft) in height. It is being built in the Parramatta Square Development on plot 8 called PSQ8.

Edgewater Towers

Edgewater Towers is a high rise apartment block located in Melbourne, Australia. The building, completed in 1961, was Melbourne's first, privately developed high rise apartment block and the tallest in Victoria until Robin Boyd's Domain Park Flats was completed in 1962. The building was designed by émigré architect Mordechai Benshemesh who designed many multi-storey buildings in St Kilda, Victoria and Elwood, Victoria. Edgewater Towers is considered to be Benshemesh's most iconic design.

One Queensbridge

One Queensbridge was a proposed mixed–used supertall skyscraper to be located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Australia. The skyscraper would have become the tallest building in Melbourne, surpassing the height of Australia 108, and the tallest building in Australia, eclipsing the height of Q1. In addition to being the tallest, the development was to have been one of the biggest single–building projects in Australia, encompassing 300,376 square metres of floor area.

Stantec Tower Skyscraper in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Stantec Tower is a 66-storey, 250.8 m (823 ft) mixed-use skyscraper in the Ice District in the city's downtown core of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. As of 23 May 2018, it reached a construction height of 197 m (646.3 ft) and surpassed the JW Marriott Edmonton Ice District & Residences, becoming the tallest building in Edmonton. The office area of the tower opened on September 26, 2018, and the residential portion opened in 2019.

Melbourne Square (complex)

Melbourne Square is a A$2.8 billion building complex of residential, hotel and commercial towers in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Victoria. The complex will be constructed in five stages, with an estimated completion in 2027. Stage one of the development commenced construction in November 2017, and it is expected to be completed by August 2020.

The One is a supertall skyscraper currently under construction in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. When completed, it will be the tallest building in Canada. At 309 metres and 85 storeys, it will be taller than First Canadian Place, which has been Canada's tallest building since 1976. It will also be Canada's first supertall skyscraper, as defined by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Construction of the building is expected to be completed by 2022 or 2023, with the retail space anticipated for opening in 2020.

Southbank by Beulah Skyscraper under development in Melbourne, Australia

Southbank by Beulah is a dual skyscraper development proposed for Melbourne developed by Beulah International and designed by architectural firms UNStudio and Cox Architecture. The site currently hosts a BMW dealership. If completed as planned, the development will host the Southern Hemisphere's tallest building.
