The Oxford University Ice Hockey Club (OUIHC) is home to the Men’s and Women’s Blues ice hockey teams of the University of Oxford, England. The Men's Blues, also known as Oxford University Blues, is one of the world's oldest ice hockey teams. Tradition places the origin of the team in 1885, when a match is said to have been played against Cambridge University Ice Hockey Club in St Moritz, Switzerland. This date is recognised by the Hockey Hall of Fame, and prior to the 1985 Ice Hockey Varsity Match, the International Ice Hockey Federation formally recognised the 1885 game as the first ice hockey match played in Europe. However, there is no contemporary evidence that this match took place, and Oxford now claims that this was a bandy match.
Gerald Bernard Odrowski is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 309 games in the National Hockey League and another 282 in the World Hockey Association. He played for the NHL's Detroit Red Wings, Oakland Seals and St. Louis Blues as well as the WHA's Los Angeles Sharks, Phoenix Roadrunners, Minnesota Fighting Saints and the Winnipeg Jets. Odrowski scored only 12 goals in his NHL career, but 7 of those goals were scored when his team was playing shorthanded.

Mark Edward Fusco is an American former professional ice hockey player who appeared in 80 National Hockey League (NHL) regular season games for the Hartford Whalers in 1984–85. As an amateur, Fusco won the Hobey Baker Award in 1983 while playing for the Harvard Crimson men's ice hockey team. That season he set the school record for points by a Harvard defenseman in one season, which stood until it was surpassed by Adam Fox in 2019.
Scott Michael Fusco is an American former ice hockey player. Fusco attended Belmont Hill School before going to Harvard. In college, Fusco won the Hobey Baker Award in 1986. He was also a member of the American 1984 Winter Olympics ice hockey team. He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002 and is assistant coach of the Irish national hockey team. His older brother Mark is also a hockey player of note.

Anton Bernard is an Italian former professional ice hockey Winger who most notably played for HC Bolzano of the ICE Hockey League (ICEHL). Bernard competed in the 2012 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Italy men's national ice hockey team.
Bernard Deschamps is a French ice hockey player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1968 Winter Olympics. He played on numerous teams. Deschamps played on multiple teams including the Long Island Ducks of the American Hockey League. He would additionally play for Sudbury Wolves, Indianapolis Chiefs, Baltimore Clippers, St. Paul Rangers and the Providence Reds. Deschamps was considered to be a top minor league prospect. In 1975, he was selected on waivers to earn a spot on the roster for the New York Rangers. Deschamps was influential in the career of African American Hockey player Val James. He served as the coach for St. John's University's Hockey team. In 2002, he was selected to coach the hockey team for Suny Stony Brook.
The Guildford Phoenix are an amateur ice hockey team based in Guildford, England. They currently play in the NIHL 2 South West Division. The Guildford Phoenix are a minor league affiliate of the Guildford Flames of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
