Mark Daniel Bradshaw (born May 12, 1962 in Happy Camp, California) is a retired diver from the United States who competed for Ohio State University. He represented the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics, finishing in fifth place in the Men's 3m Springboard event. [1]

Ohio State

Bradshaw was an outstanding diver for Ohio State University, where he was mentored by the highly skilled Coach Vince Panzano, a former dive team member and graduate for Ohio State in 1973. At Ohio State, Bradshaw was a four-time All-American and won the NCAA springboard title in 1983. [2]

International competition

Bradshaw twice won a silver medal in springboard at the Pan American Games, in 1991 and 1995. [2] [1]

He won two bronze medals at the 1990 Goodwill Games in the 1 and 2-meter springboard. [3]

In 1999, he was made the head diving coach at Arizona State University, a position he held for over a decade. He was recognized as the Pac-10 Conference Coach of the Year in multiple years and led ASU divers to several Pac-10 titles. He has also served as the head diving coach for Finland at both the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. [1]

Youssef Selim is an Egyptian diver. He became one of the first divers to represent Egypt in an Olympic tournament since the country's appearance in Los Angeles thirty-two years earlier, finishing as Africa's top-ranked springboard diver at the 2015 FINA World Championships to secure the country's Olympic berth for Rio 2016. Selim currently trains as a member of the swimming and diving team at the Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, under the tutelage of head coach Mark Bradshaw.

Vince Panzano is an American former competition diver for Ohio State University, who coached the Ohio State University diving team for thirty-five years from 1978 through 2013. Panzano was a ten-time Big 10 and four-time NCAA Diving Coach of the Year who coached teams that won six national titles. Well recognized on the international stage, he served as an Olympic diving coach in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, the 1988 Seoul Olympics, the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and most recently the 2012 London Olympics.
