Mark Davies is a former Wales International Rugby Union player. A flanker, Davies began his rugby career at Maesteg Comprehensive School and Nantyfyllon RFC before joining Swansea.

He made his debut for the Wales on 5 December 1981 versus Australia and went on to attain 3 caps for Wales between 1981 and 1985.

Davies has been involved with the Wales national rugby union team in non-playing roles since 1991 and joined the Welsh Rugby Union as a full-time member of staff in August, 1999. [1]

Glamorgan Wanderers are a Welsh rugby union club based in Ely, west Cardiff in Wales. The club is located just to the north of Western Cemetery. They currently play in the WRU Admiral Championship. Glamorgan Wanderers began as the Old Monktonians, formed by ex-pupils of Monkton House School in 1893. In 1913 the team changed their name to Glamorgan Wanderers to reflect the wider intake of their membership. Terence John Davies MBE was a Welsh international full back who played club rugby for Swansea and Llanelli. He won 21 caps for Wales and was selected to play in the British Lions on the 1959 tour of Australia and New Zealand. Davies was seen as the last of the great Welsh full backs, before the 'No direct kicking into touch' rule was introduced in the late sixties and changed the full back role.

Willie Davies was a Welsh international dual-code rugby fly half who played rugby union for Swansea and rugby league for Bradford Northern. He won six caps for the Wales rugby union team and nine caps for the Wales rugby league team. In 2003 he was inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame. He was the cousin of Wales international Haydn Tanner.

Gareth Davies is a Wales international rugby union player currently playing for the Scarlets. His position is scrum-half. He is a fluent Welsh speaker. Gareth was selected for the 2021 Tour of South Africa for the British and Irish lions, making four appearances and scoring one try.
