Mark Drennan is a former Republican member of the West Virginia Senate [1] [2] representing the 4th district. Brennan was appointed by Governor Jim Justice to fill the seat previously held by Mike Hall,taking office on September 11,2017. [3] He lost renomination in 2018 to Eric Tarr.
Mark Drennan was born February 29,1972,in Charleston to Emmett G. Drennan (1943-1997)[ citation needed ] and Patricia Thomas Drennan (1944-2011)[ citation needed ]. He has one brother,Eric Drennan (1975-).[ citation needed ]
In 2006,Mark married Sarah Nicolls Drennan and the two have sons Alec (2008-)[ citation needed ] and Connor (2011-).[ citation needed ]

The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia is the state supreme court of the state of West Virginia,the highest of West Virginia's state courts. The court sits primarily at the West Virginia State Capitol in Charleston,although from 1873 to 1915,it was also required by state law to hold sessions in Charles Town in the state's Eastern Panhandle. The court also holds special sittings at various locations across the state.
Earl Ray Tomblin is an American politician who served as the 35th governor of West Virginia from 2011 to 2017. A member of the Democratic Party,he previously served in the West Virginia Senate from 1980 to 2011 and as president of the West Virginia Senate from 1995 to 2011. Tomblin became acting governor in November 2010 following Joe Manchin's election to the U.S. Senate. Robin Jean Davis is an American jurist who served on the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia. First elected to fill an unexpired term in 1996,Davis later won full twelve-year terms in 2000 and 2012. However,Davis retired before the end of her second full term in August 2018 after the West Virginia House Judiciary Committee named Davis in articles of impeachment during the Impeachment of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia.
Carte Patrick Goodwin is an American attorney and politician who served as a United States senator from West Virginia in 2010. A member of the Democratic Party,he was appointed by Governor Joe Manchin on July 16,2010 to fill the vacancy created by the death of Robert Byrd. He chose not to seek election to finish the unexpired term of Robert Byrd. Goodwin left office on November 15,2010 when Joe Manchin was sworn in after being elected to the Senate.
