Mark Ladner is a Cambridge, Massachusetts based chef and restaurateur, who owns Bar Enza in Harvard Square. [1]
Ladner was raised in Belmont, Massachusetts. [2]
His first job was at Café Fiorella, also in Harvard Square. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University, [3] he went to work for Todd English at Olives. Ladner worked there with Marc Orfaly and Barbara Lynch. [3] He moved to Manhattan and became executive chef at Del Posto until 2017. [4] While there, he won a James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef in New York City and two Michelin Stars. The New York Times gave the restaurant a four star review. [1] While in NYC, Ladner also worked for Scott Bryan and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. [3]

From 2003 to 2008, he served as Mario Batali’s sous chef on Iron Chef America alongside Anne Burrell. When he appeared on Beat Bobby Flay, he competed against Flay but Flay won.

The NoMad was an integrated hotel and restaurant owned by the Sydell Group and located in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The restaurant of the same name was conceived by chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara of nearby Eleven Madison Park. The hotel was sometimes referred to as NoMad New York to differentiate from its sister locations in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The building is a contributing property to the Madison Square North Historic District, a New York City Landmark.

Simon Kim is an American restaurateur who owns and operates COTE Korean Steakhouse, a restaurant with locations in New York, Miami and Singapore. COTE New York has received a star from the Michelin Guide each year since opening in 2017. Kim's original “Korean Steakhouse” concept combines Korean barbecue with an American steakhouse experience and was inspired by his dual nationalities. Crain’s New York named Kim as one of their “40 Under 40” business leaders in 2019. In 2021, the National Restaurant Association, which represents 1 million restaurant and foodservice outlets and a workforce of 15.6 million employees, elected Kim to serve on their board.
Del Posto was a Michelin-starred fine dining Italian restaurant at 85 Tenth Avenue in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan owned by Lidia, Tanya, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich. The restaurant received a Michelin star for many years. In the spring of 2021, after sixteen years, the space was sold to three employees, and opened as Al Coro in 2022.

Al Coro was a restaurant in New York City, New York. The Italian restaurant opened in 2022 in the space formerly occupied by Del Posto, and had received two Michelin stars. It closed in December 2023.
