Mark Mentors is a Nigerian basketball club based in Abuja. Founded in 2012, [1] team plays in the Nigerian Premier League. In 2015, the Mentors won their first national championship. [2]

In 2018, the club announced its plans to move from Abuja to Otukpo to play in the Otukpo Indoor Sports Hall when it is finished. [3]

Daniel Johnson is an Australian professional basketball player for the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League (NBL). Standing 6'11½" tall, Johnson's primary position is centre, but with a strong mid and long range shooting ability, he is equally effective at playing power forward. Rivers Hoopers is a Nigerian basketball team based in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The team plays in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established in 2009 as Royal Hoopers, the team plays in the Nigerian Premier League since its inception. Hoopers have won the national championship three times, with consecutive titles in 2011 and 2012, and in 2019 they won their third title.
