The Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), or Kerry GAA, is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland. It is responsible for Gaelic games in County Kerry, and for the Kerry county teams.

Denis 'Dinny' Allen is a retired Gaelic football manager and former dual player. He played both hurling and Gaelic football with his local club Nemo Rangers and was a member of the Cork senior inter-county teams in both codes from 1972 until 1989. Allen is regarded as one of the greatest Gaelic footballers of all time.

Annascaul GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club that plays Gaelic football and is based in Annascaul, County Kerry, Ireland. They play in Division 2 of the County Football League and in the Kerry Junior Football Championship. Annascaul is formed by three communities- Annascaul, Inch and Camp. Camp has the proud distinction of having the most All-Ireland medals per head of population of any village in Ireland. Ian Twiss is a Gaelic footballer from County Kerry. He has played with Kerry at all levels. He first came on the scene in 1996 when he won a Munster Minor Championship he later played in the All Ireland final but Kerry lost out to Laois. He then moved on to the Under 21 team in 1998 where in won a Munster Championship and later an All Ireland. He was till underage in 1999 and won a second Munster medal and Kerry once again made it to the All Ireland final where they were shocked by Westmeath, Twiss missed a penalty. He played with the Kerry senior team for one year in 2002 and was part of the team that lost out to Armagh in that year's All Ireland final.
