Mark Perrin Lowrey Love Sr. (November 8,1881 - March 9,1953) was a Baptist official and state legislator in Mississippi. [1] [2] He was a Democrat and a Baptist. He married and had six children. [3]
He was born in Brooksville,Mississippi. He attended Mississippi College. [4]
He lived in Hattiesburg. [5] He represented the 42nd District in the Mississippi State Senate from 1920 to 1928. [4] He was the Senate's President Pro Tempore from 1924 to 1928. [4] In 1927 he was a candidate for Lieutenant Governor but lost to Bidwell Adam. [4]
He died in Jackson,Mississippi,on March 9,1953. [2]
