Mark Chadburn Samuel (born 1963) is a Canadian businessman and former equestrian. He is a member of the prominent Samuel family of Toronto that established Samuel, Son & Co., and his family still owns the company. [1]
In 1999 Samuel was named to his first Nations' Cup team representing Canada in show jumping. In 2002 Samuel was the traveling reserve for the World Equestrian Games in Jerez, [2] Spain and in 2003 he represented Canada at the Pan American Games in the Dominican Republic. In all competitions, he rode the Selle Français Darios V. [3] Samuel's family owns the Thoroughbred breeding operation Sam-Son Farm, which has produced Breeders' Cup winners. [1]
Samuel is a former director of the Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF), the Canadian Equestrian Federation (now known as Equine Canada), co-founder of the Ontario Hunter Jumper Association (OHJA), co-founder, past chair and current committee member of Jump Canada, Chair of the Jump Canada Hall of Fame. He is the current Group IV Chair (North America) and Bureau member of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI). [4]

Joseph "Joe" Halpin Fargis IV is an American showjumper and Olympic champion. Fargis won showjumping individual gold and team gold at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He won showjumping team silver at the 1988 Summer Olympics. He is the owner of Sandron Farm.

Eric Lamaze is a Canadian showjumper and Olympic champion. He won individual gold and team silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, riding Hickstead. Lamaze has won three Olympic medals, as well as four Pan American Games medals and one World Equestrian Games bronze. He is considered one of Canada's best showjumpers. He is currently banned from participating in equestrian activities until 2027.
Hickstead was a stallion ridden by Canadian Eric Lamaze. With rider Lamaze, he was an Olympic gold and silver medallist in show jumping. Hickstead was owned by Torrey Pines and Ashland Stables Inc.
In Style was a Holsteiner gelding ridden by Canadian Equestrian Team member Ian Millar in the sport of show jumping. He was imported to Canada from the Netherlands in 2003. His full brother, VDL Atlantic, is also an international show jumper. Furthermore, VDL Atlantic was a Zangersheide-approved stallion with approved sons of his own. The dam of In Style and Atlantic is Diana, a full sister to Lord Z, himself a strong sire and FEI show jumper under Franke Sloothaak and John Whitaker. In Style was reported to be a sensitive horse with a Thoroughbred-like disposition.

He was one of the founders of the European Equestrian Federation and became secretary-general of the FEI in 2011 prior to being elected President of the organisation in 2014.
Daniel Bluman is an Olympic show jumping rider. Born in Colombia, he represents Israel internationally and competed for his country of birth in the past. Bluman qualified to represent Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, but did not compete due to a clerical error in his horse's registration. Bluman represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Palace of Versailles in individual jumping and team jumping.
