Thomas L. James is a United States Army major general who serves as the acting commander of Combined Joint Task Force–Space Operations. He previously served as the first commander of Joint Task Force–Space Defense from 2019 to 2022. He is the first Army space operations officer to reach the rank of major general.

Frank Gorenc is a retired United States Air Force four-star general who served as the Commander, United States Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa and Commander, Allied Air Command. He previously served as the Assistant Vice Chief of Staff and Director, Air Staff, Headquarters, United States Air Force at the Pentagon. Gorenc is a command pilot with more than 4,100 flight hours in the T-38A, F-15C, MQ-1B, UH-1N and C-21A. He assumed his final assignment on 2 August 2013.

Michael Elliott Langley is a United States Marine Corps general who has served as the commander of the United States Africa Command since August 9, 2022. He most recently served as commander of United States Marine Corps Forces Command, United States Marine Corps Forces Northern Command, and Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic from November 2021 to August 2022. He also served as deputy commander of Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic and before that as commander of United States Marine Forces Europe and Africa.
