Douglas Community School, also known as Douglas Com or DCS, is an all boy's community school in Douglas, Cork, Ireland. It was founded as Coláiste Muire by the Presentation Brothers in 1926 as a juniorate. In 1965 it became a full secondary school. In 1974, it became one of the first "community schools" in Ireland, when it was transferred by the religious order to a local board of management. The Roman Catholic Bishop of Cork's representatives are trustees on the board of management. Its uniform is a navy jumper with royal blue and yellow stripes at neckline. The school also hosts adult education evening classes.
Dohenys is a Gaelic Athletic Association club, fielding Gaelic football and hurling teams in the town of Dunmanway, County Cork, Ireland. It won its only Cork Senior Club Football Championship in 1897. Other titles won include 2 Cork Intermediate Football Championships in 1972 and 1995, and 3 Cork Junior Football Championships in 1935, 1966, and 1993. In 2007, the club won its first ever county hurling championship when it won the Cork Junior B Hurling Championship. The club is part of the Carbery division of Cork. The Sam Maguire Cup which is presented to the All-Ireland winning football team each year is named after Dunmanway's most famous son, Sam Maguire who is buried in St. Mary's Graveyard.
Newmarket GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club in Newmarket, County Cork, Ireland which is part of the parish of Newmarket, Taur. Newmarket's football team competes in the Cork Senior A Football Championship and its hurling team competes in the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship. Newmarket Gaa were the first club in Duhallow to introduce handball as a sport and are the current county champions in the handball masters.
O'Donovan Rossa or Skibbereen is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland. It participates in Cork GAA competitions. Traditionally, the club has been much more successful in Gaelic football. It won its only Cork Senior Football Championship in 1992 and subsequently won the 1992–93 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship after beating Éire Óg of Carlow in the final replay. The club participates in the Carbery division of Cork GAA.

Duhallow GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling division in the historical barony of Duhallow, County Cork, Ireland. This barony is situated in the northwest region of the county, and includes towns such as Kanturk, Millstreet, and Newmarket. It is one of eight divisions of Cork County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, from Under 12 up to the adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. In addition, the division selects football and hurling teams from the adult teams playing at junior level or county intermediate level, and these then compete for the Cork Senior Football Championship and Cork Senior Hurling Championship. Since hurling is the weaker sport in the division, a divisional team has also participated in the Cork Minor Hurling Championship and Cork Under-21 Hurling Championship.
Clonakilty GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in the town and parish of Clonakilty in County Cork, Ireland. It is affiliated to the Carbery division of Cork. It was founded in October 1887. The club is most famous for being from the same town where Clonakilty black pudding is produced.
Courcey Rovers is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the villages of Ballinspittle and Ballinadee in County Cork, Ireland. The club fields both hurling, Gaelic football and camogie teams. It has historically concentrated on hurling. The club is part of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork competitions. It used to be part of Carbery GAA but moved in the mid-1970s to Carrigdhoun GAA as it felt that it would be offered a higher chance to be able to win county championships, as there are more hurling clubs in the south east division. The pitch is named after hurling legend Jim O'Regan.

The 2020 Munster Senior Football Championship was the 2020 installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship organised by the Munster GAA. The fixtures were announced on RTÉ Radio on 8 October 2019. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games, all GAA activity was suspended until late in the year.
The Cork county football team represents Cork in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Cork GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Munster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League.
The 2020 Munster Senior Football Championship final was played at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on 22 November 2020. It was contested by Tipperary and Cork. Tipperary won a first title since 1935, doing so in the home ground of their opponent. This was also the first time since 1992 that neither Cork nor Kerry won the competition.
Aghinagh GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Rusheen, County Cork, Ireland. The club currently fields teams in Gaelic football. It includes the parishes Rusheen, Ballinagree, Bealmorrive and a bit of Carrigadrohid.
