Mark Carpentier (born 10 February 1973) is a Belgian DJ and record producer who performs under the name Mark With a K. He produces performs music within the hard dance music genre. He has performed at some major hard dance events in Europe.
Mark With A K released his first record "Pure Perfection" with Danny C on db Sounds in 2003. He continued to release his music on various labels including Zoo Records, Digidance and BS2. In 2012, Mark With A K founded his own record label named Noize Junky which is a platform for hard dance music, specifically jumpstyle and tek.
Mark With A K has released five solo albums over his musical career, his first album "My World" was released in 2009, his second "Harder" was released in 2010, his third album "Roll With Me" was released in 2011 and his fourth album, [1] "The Next Level" came out in 2013. His fifth album called "Mass Hysteria" came out in 2018. Apart from his solo releases, Mark With A K has collaborated with other artists within the hard dance genre such as Chris Willis, MC Chucky, Akyra, Ruthless, DJ Coone, Dark-E and Davoodi.
Besides his performances as Mark With A K, Mark is also part of two music groups: Highstreet Allstars and Lords of TEK which also perform hard dance music. [2]
Mark With A K has performed at Decibel Outdoor Festival, Defqon.1 Festival, Mysteryland, Q-BASE, Tomorrowland, Reverze, as well as at many other Q-Dance and B2S events. Over the years, he has performed in Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, France, and Spain. [3]

House is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by a repetitive four-on-the-floor beat and a typical tempo of 120-130 beats per minute as a re-emergence of 1970's disco. It was created by DJs and music producers from Chicago's underground club culture and evolved slowly in the early/mid 1980s, and as DJs began altering disco songs to give them a more mechanical beat. By early 1988, House became mainstream and supplanted the typical 80s music beat.
Hardcore is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany in the early 1990s. It is distinguished by faster tempos and a distorted sawtooth kick, the intensity of the kicks and the synthesized bass, the rhythm and the atmosphere of the themes, the usage of saturation and experimentation close to that of industrial dance music. It would spawn subgenres such as gabber.
Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen, better known by his stage name Darude, is a Finnish DJ and record producer from Eura, Satakunta. His music is characterised by its progressive/uplifting style. He started making music in 1995 and released the platinum-selling hit single "Sandstorm" in late 1999. His debut studio album, Before the Storm, was released on September 18, 2000, and sold 800,000 copies worldwide, earning Darude three Finnish Grammy Awards. It peaked at number one on Finland's Official List and number 6 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart in the United States. Darude's second studio album, Rush, reached number 11 on the Billboard dance chart in 2003 and number 4 on weekly album chart in Finland.

Willem Rebergen, better known by his stage name Headhunterz, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. Rebergen is also a voice actor. He has done dubbing for several movies and TV series. He started his career in 2005 working on Hardstyle music.
Footwork, also called juke, footwork/juke or Chicago juke, is a genre of electronic dance music derived from ghetto house with elements of hip hop, first appearing in Chicago in the late 1990s. The music style evolved from the earlier, rapid rhythms of ghetto house, a change pioneered by RP Boo. It may draw from the rapid rhythms and sub-bass frequencies of drum & bass. Tracks also frequently feature heavily syncopated samples from rap, pop and other sources, and are often around 160 bpm.
Joram Metekohy, better known by his stage name Wildstylez, is a Dutch hardstyle DJ and record producer. Having previously released hardstyle records under the alias 'Seizure', Joram Metekohy had his first solo release as Wildstylez in 2007 on the Scantraxx sub-label Scantraxx Reloaded. In 2010, he started the record label Digital:Age in collaboration with Noisecontrollers. After he stopped releasing on Digital:Age, and its subsequent collapse, Wildstylez had a string of releases on Q-Dance Records and also released many tracks for free via social media. In 2013, Wildstylez founded his own hardstyle label, Lose Control Music, under the parent label Be Yourself Music. As of 2014, he and Max Enforcer now release their own music through Lose Control Music. Later, in 2018, Wildstylez founded the label Art of Creation with Headhunterz.
