Marlene Tromp (born 1966) [1] is an American academic administrator who has served as the president of Boise State University since July 1,2019.
Tromp grew up in Green River,Wyoming. A first-generation college student,Tromp initially aspired to become a medical doctor. Tromp received a scholarship and worked several part-time jobs to attend Creighton University. Tromp earned a Bachelor of Arts from Creighton and returned to Wyoming to attend the University of Wyoming,where she earned a Master of Arts in English. Tromp then earned a PhD in English from the University of Florida. [2]
Prior to becoming president of Boise State University,Tromp served as provost and executive vice chancellor at University of California,Santa Cruz and dean the Arizona State University New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. [3] Succeeding Bob Kustra,Tromp became the first female president of Boise State in July 2019. [4]

Creighton Preparatory School is a private,Jesuit high school for boys in Omaha,Nebraska,United States. It was established in 1878 under the name Creighton College and is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha. Creighton College was founded by John A. Creighton and named after Edward Creighton,developer of the transcontinental telegraph line. It was founded from a $100,000 grant and donated to the Catholic Church,leading to its inception as a Jesuit institution. Creighton College separated into Creighton University and Creighton Preparatory School in 1958. Over the 142 years since its founding,Creighton Prep has grown from an initial class of 120 students to a student body of 1021 individuals (2016).

Benjamin Matthew Victor is an American sculptor living and working in Boise,Idaho. He is the only living artist to have three works in the National Statuary Hall in the United States Capitol. He is currently sculpting his fourth statue for the Statuary Hall,of Daisy Bates. He was only 26 years old when his first statue,Sarah Winnemucca, a Paiute activist in Nevada,was dedicated in the Hall in 2005,making him the youngest artist to ever be represented in the Hall. In 2014,his sculpture of Norman Borlaug,"the father of the Green Revolution," was dedicated in the National Statuary Hall and in 2019,his statue of Chief Standing Bear,a Native American rights leader,was dedicated in the National Statuary Hall making him the only living artist to have three sculptures in the Hall.
The 2012–13 Boise State Broncos men's basketball team represented Boise State University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Broncos,led by third year head coach Leon Rice,played their home games at Taco Bell Arena and were a member of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 21–11,9–7 in Mountain West play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West tournament to San Diego State. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament,the school's first ever at-large bid,where they lost in the First Four round to La Salle.
Kay Goebel is a counseling psychologist in Oklahoma City. Goebel previously served as president of the Arts Council of Oklahoma City and later served six years on the Oklahoma Arts Council,four of those years serving as chair. Suzanne M. Rivera is an American bioethicist,science policy expert,and president of Macalester College. She is the first female and first Latina president in the college’s history. Rivera’s presidential Inauguration ceremony was held at Macalester on October 9,2021. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz proclaimed it as "Suzanne M. Rivera Day" in the state.
Milton C. Moreland is an American academic administrator and archaeologist serving as the 21st president of Centre College in Danville,Kentucky. A graduate from the University of Memphis,Moreland taught for eight years at Huntingdon College and was a member of the faculty and administration for thirteen years at Rhodes College,serving for some time as the dean of faculty,vice president for academic affairs,and provost. In February 2020,he was announced as president of Centre College;he assumed office on July 1,2020,succeeding John A. Roush,and was formally inaugurated in October 2021.
The 2021 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 21,2021,with kickoff at 3:30 p.m. EST on ESPN. It was the 25th edition of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl,and it featured the Kent State Golden Flashes of Mid-American Conference and the Wyoming Cowboys of the Mountain West Conference. It was one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. The game was sponsored by the Idaho Potato Commission.
