Marondera High School is a co-educational high school located one and half miles from the Marondera town centre, in Mashonaland East Province, Zimbabwe. The school was established in 1960.This school is one of the first schools in Marondera. It lies opposite Nagle House Girls High School. Previous headmasters have been Mr. Chigwedere, Mr. Mutsigwa, Mr. Mufambisi, Mr. Chinake and Mr. Nyamayaro. The current acting headmaster is Mr. Madyangove who just from St Ignatius College.
Founded in 1960 as Marandellas High School, the school catered for the Marandellas farming community and the surrounding towns. The school has five boarding houses named after English counties. The boarding houses are Cumberland (The Sables), Hampshire (The Kings) and Sussex (The Bulls) for boys and Kent and Cornwall for girls. The school also includes day schooling with Stallion House for the girls and Tiger House(dhibhan'a) for the boys.
The school uses the symbol of the lion on its badge. The most notable sport event on the school calendar is the annual Chinamasa Inter-hostel rugby tournament held in March. Cumberland, Sussex, Hampshire and the tigers go head to head where winner gets a trophy and aid to an annual celebratory braai (bbq). The tournament also serves purpose to identify and select players who go on to form the schools' Rugby first team and represent the school at the annual Dairy Board Rugby School Festival.
The games houses (Nehanda, Chitepo, Tongogara and Mutapa) are named after popular heroes from Zimbabwe. The houses are represented with the colors red, green, yellow and blue respectively .
The school offers a variety of sports which include soccer, rugby, cricket, netball, handball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, hockey and swimming. Also included are a variety of clubs which enrich the students culturally and socially.

St George's School, Harpenden is a non-selective day and boarding school in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, England, educating students of both sexes between the ages of eleven and eighteen, with an emphasis on its Christian ethos. It was founded in 1907 as one of Britain's first mixed-sex boarding schools. The school has International School status. The School was named as the Sunday Times' 'Comprehensive School of the Year' in 2019. Kwekwe High School is a high school in the city of Kwekwe, in the Midlands Region of Zimbabwe. It was known until 1982 as Que Que High School. The school motto is Non Sibi Sed Omnibus. Kwekwe High is a co-ed multi-racial school that offers education from Form 1 up to Form 6 and offers sports such as rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball, swimming, field hockey, netball and volleyball. The school was founded in the early twentieth century, and was a combined primary and secondary school until the late 1920s when it was separated. At its inception the school mainly served the children of white employees of the Globe and Phoenix Gold Mine and of industries based on nearby deposits of iron and chromite, along with the children of local white farmers and ranchers. The school was opened to students of all races in 1980. It has some 1,500 students and 50 teachers, with six of them teaching mathematics. The class sizes are usually between 40 and 43 students per class.

St John's College was a private day and boarding school located in Southsea, Hampshire, England. It was founded by the De La Salle brothers in 1908. In May 2022, the Governors announced that the school would not re-open for the academic year starting that September, citing declining student numbers, under-investment and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as the causes. In August 2022, St John's College appointed administrators and went into liquidation. The head of the college at the time of closure was Mary Maguire.

Bernard Mizeki College is an independent boarding school for boys situated in Marondera, Zimbabwe approximately 87 km east of the capital Harare and or 13.5 km north east of Marondera town. It was founded in memory of Bernard Mizeki, an African martyr who died in the Marondera area. The school was established by leading private individuals of the Anglican Church in the then Rhodesia through a deed of trust drafted in 1958 and registered on 29 May 1959 at Harare. The college was established predominantly for African boys however over the years there were girls who attended the college.

Ruzawi School is an Anglican, independent, co-educational, preparatory, boarding school for children aged 6 to 12. It is located near the town of Marondera in Zimbabwe. Ruzawi, which was founded by Robert Grinham and Maurice Carver, has a pupil population ranging from 205 to 220 depending on the balance of boys and girls and the number of pupils in each age group. In the Infants' Department there is one class each for Grade One and Grade Two. An additional entry point at Grade Three enables there to be two classes from that level up to Grade 7. The school is situated some five kilometres south of Marondera in extensive grounds surrounded by many hectares of indigenous miombo woodland and exotic eucalyptus plantations.

Chaplin High School is situated in Gweru, Zimbabwe, and was started in October 1902. It was started in a building of the Trinity Church, Gwelo and first named as the Trinity Church School (1). The school caters for boys and girls from form 1–6 and has boarders and day scholars. The school shares facilities with Peterhouse Girls' School on the Springvale Estate of approximately 1,200 acres (490 ha) with Gosho Park, a conservation area on the estate, being adjacent to the two schools. The majority of the pupil population are boarders while the remainder are day scholars.
