Marshall Frederick Rosen (born 17 September 1948) is a former cricket player for New South Wales,and a member of the NSW Cricket Association Board. [1]
Rosen represented New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield between 1971 and 1975 as an opening batsman. [2] [3] [4] [5] His highest first-class score was 97,when New South Wales beat Western Australia in December 1973. [6]
In 2007 Rosen,who is Jewish,was inducted into the Maccabi NSW Hall of Fame. [7]
Rosen was elected a State Selector in 2002,and was elected as a Director of the NSW Cricket Association Board in 2005. [2] [8] [9] [10] [11]
Rosen graduated from the University of NSW in 1973. He is a Managing Director of his own construction business,Riboni Group of Companies. [2]
Edward James McKenzie Cowan is an Australian former cricketer,who played domestically mainly for New South Wales and Tasmania as a left handed opening batsman. In March 2018,he announced his retirement from first-class cricket.

Phillip Henry Carlson was an Australian cricketer who played in two Test matches and four One Day Internationals (ODIs) in 1979. The 2010–11 KFC Twenty20 Big Bash was the sixth season of the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash,the official Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. Six teams representing six states in Australia participated in the competition. The competition began on 30 December 2010. It was won by South Australia,who defeated New South Wales in the final.

New South Wales selection bias is a claimed bias of selectors of the Australian cricket teams towards players from New South Wales. It was alluded to in a quote by former South Australian captain David Hookes who said that,"when they give out the baggy blue cap in New South Wales,they give you a baggy green one in a brown paper bag as well to save making two presentations". Hookes' comment came at a time when,especially during the 1980s,there was public speculation that strong performances by non-NSW players were often ignored by the Australian selectors in favour of seemingly under-performing NSW players who were selected for the Test and/or One-Day team.
Kurtis Robert Patterson is an Australian cricketer who plays for the New South Wales cricket team in the Sheffield Shield,and the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. Patterson scored a century on his first-class cricket debut for New South Wales in November 2011,becoming the youngest batsman to score a century in Sheffield Shield cricket. In January 2019,he made his Test debut for Australia against Sri Lanka,becoming the 457th person to play test cricket for Australia. He made a century in just his second test match in Canberra,also against Sri Lanka. He was not selected for the 2019 Ashes series and returned to play domestically in the 2019/2020 season. He has the highest average of any Test batsman who has lost their wicket at least once.
